Visited here on Saturday 21 May 2011 after doing a walk. It was excellent. Lovely home cooked food and very friendly staff. Will be going again.

Thoroughly excellent! This is a wonderful place. Real Italian food cooked with love, in an atmosphere which really fits. This is not a place to go if you enjoy restaurants where the only sound is that of clinking glasses and hushed tones. This is a busy, bustling friendly little place which is ideal if you like to sit with a bottle of wine, laugh, enjoy fabulous food and great service in a place where the customers are made to feel like family. Nothing is too much trouble, and the food is consistently superb, Stefano and his team can make a simple salad into a delicious work of art, you can taste the passion in every mouthful. Go and try it for yourself!

I recently went to Aldos after hearing recommendations, I have to say I was not disappointed! The atmosphere is fantastic! The food is brilliant and the staff could not have been more helpful or entertaining!! I only expected to be going for a meal but my party and I spent the entire evening in the restaurant and the newly opened bar next door, we didnt want to leave! A wonderful restaurant, unbelievable choice of food-I recommend the specials board- a varied choice of cocktails, wine, Prosecco and Champagne!! Such a wonderful evening! I will be most definitely becoming a regular customer!! Try for yourself you wont be disappointed!

My friend and I went to Hansas at the weekend for what we were expecting to experience some new flavours. We are not vegetarian but wanted to try it as it had been getting very good reviews. We were not disappointed, the ingredients were very fresh, the flavours were sensational, I have travelled around the world but can honestly say I have not experienced flavours like this before. The knowledge of the food by the waiting staff very good, Hansa served us at our table and was very accommodating help us understand what we were ordering. I live 120 miles away, it is definitely work a return visit and would recommend everyone to try it.

What a wonderful restaurant, with the best customer service I have seen for a long time. The best south Indian food I have had, freshly and beautifully cooked and when I asked for a Lassi, I was informed that it was the season for Mango and given a fabulous mango Lassi and then after the meal, a chopped mango to taste. What thoughtful people and they teach you how to make the food as well. Heaven! thank you.

One off the best meals we have tried. Been eating Indian for 20 years and we have found Red Chilli one off the best. keep up the good work. See u next year. We came all the way from Jersey.

I have been coming to Aldo's since I moved to the area 15 years ago. I loved the atmosphere and welcome then and it just grows and grows on you. The food is fantastic, fresh, perfectly proportioned and tasty. It has inspired me to try and copy some dishes, but try as i may, i can not get that finished feel for the dishes that Aldo's has mastered. The new bar adds to something that was brilliant anyway. Many have competed, but there is only one Italian restaurant in Cleckheaton.......

the food there are really great and like the Indian dish washer guy. he is cute.

Lovely welcoming place & atmosphere with friendly staff. Food not brilliant - and when Complained, the friendliness stopped! £18 for steak pie is expensive, if good then I wouldn't mind - it was poor. Didn't remove from the bill, when requested, it was removed and bill slammed back on desk without eye contact. Will not return

We have been eating at Aldo's for many years now, and we are never disappointed. A warm, friendly welcome always awaits and this followed by beautifully tasty pizzas and amazing king prawn dishes always ensures a great evening. Great night out with family, friends and our daughter goes there with her friends too. Can't recommend it enough.

Little Italy on your doorstep ,fantastic atmosphere, food and wine superb,whether you have steak,fish pasta, or pizza. everyone's a winner. We have been going for many years long may it continue!!!!!!!! ,and cant go without mentioning the nothing is too much trouble and always a friendly smile THE CROWTHERS

we have been weekly customers for well over 20 years and the standard has never dropped. The new bar is a master stroke by Pino ,and he has managed to take Aldos to another level. TRY IT. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.

Had the complete misfortune to call here for lunch one day...If you are Vegetarian..just forget it! The staff think that being a vegetarian means that you will still eat fish! They did have an old mouldy vegetable kiev lurking about in the freezer that was left from when it was on the old menu..but we declined that kind offer! We settled for mushroom soup which didn't taste of mushrooms at all but of bovril!,,then apple and blackberry crumble which was served upside down...we weren't sure if they were trying to do things differently here..but I don't think we were that lucky..they just couldn't be bothered to get it on the dish the right way up! The coke we had to drink was flat!..and we wondered why the carpark was empty! NEVER AGAIN!
