Balti House Restaurant – KeighleyService charge not acceptable to many people who are regular visitors to Salute. All my friends tip well on nights out but object to the amount being decided by the management. at Salute. Other Italians in Wakefield give excellent service and leave the tip to be decided by the customer not the establishment.
Salute @ The White Swan – RothwellAfter touring the Yorkshire Dales we stayed at Scotch Corner and found The Shoulder of Mutton via its website. Lovely friendly, efficient service and welcome. The starters were delicious and well-presented, we asked for a delay before our main course, this was no problem. My partner had the shoulder cut of lamb for her main course, whilst I had a delicious home-made beef and ale pie. I can thoroughly recommend this wonderful gastro-pub.
The Shoulder of Mutton Inn – RichmondOMG fantastic food, would definitely recommend it. a real treat at a great price :)
Maxis – YorkTop pub in a beautiful part of the world.
Boars Head – SkiptonTwice I've walked out . Not even got to try food I can't get past the woefully poor service . It appears they didn't want me to eat , just me bad review . Both times on a Monday , not apparently busy but ignored at the bar on both occasions . Surely that's just service basics , they need to pull themselves together
Sant Angelo Restaurant – WetherbyAlways popular, smart bistro setting, fairly narrow menu choice, food is good quality, well presented. I'd like a wider menu choice and maybe a bit less of the posh bistro presentation to go with a slightly cheaper meal bill. Better value and variety to be had elsewhere locally.
Gemelli – Holmfirthafter being told about the crooked billet by my daughter my wife and i were on our way back from a day out in york and thought we would end the day with a nice meal .so we set of from york to find the crooked billet when at last we found it we met who we think was probably the chef in the car park who told us that they stop service at six o clock . WHY?we were left very disappointed and hungry...
The Crooked Billet – TadcasterWe had a speaker from Chester staying with us for the weekend. The three of us came on Saturday evening for a meal. We had a fabulous meal which we enjoyed, especially our visitor. He had followed the progress of Prashad on Gordon Ramsay’s TV series and was delighted that we had taken him there for a meal. He likes his curries to be on the spicier side, so he conveyed this wish to Imran the Manager. Minal came up trumps with the right amount of spices to produce lovely vegetable samosas, delicious Mil juli sabzi and garlic Nan. Our guest was over the moon. He thoroughly enjoyed his meal and is looking forward to future visits to Bradford.
Prashad – BradfordPossibly the worst Indian meal we have ever eaten this evening, £30 for a very poor substandard meal, dishes were flavourless and consequently all of my family I'll this evening with upset tummys.Avoid like the plague!
Solos Tandoori Restaurant – HuddersfieldEaten hear many time - always love it. Great food, great staff. Would highly recommend -Fantastic!!!!!!
Balti House – Wakefieldsalad bar empty meal was virtually cold there over 1 hour salad bar in name only no salad possible worst meal experience ever
White Rose – Harvester – MorleyThis recommendation is a bit late as I have been very busy with other matters. I am from Chester and was in Bradford a fortnight ago to deliver lectures to the Theosophical Societies in Bradford and Leeds. I stayed overnight in Shipley and my hosts brought me to Prashad on Saturday evening for dinner. I had followed the progress of Prashad in Gordon Ramsay’s TV programme and so was delighted to see the place itself. It was very busy but my hosts had booked a table in advance. We were welcomed and served by Imran the Manager. I like my curries to be spicy so I asked if they could make it so. Imran was most accommodating and suggested that he would ask the Chef to make the dishes in Madras style. I opted for vegetable samosas, mill juli sabzi, and a nan. It was the best Indian meal I have ever had. The cooking was outstanding, the taste and flavours were out of this world. I am not surprised that Prashad won over the heart of Gordon Ramsay. I am looking forward to my next visit to Bradford.
Prashad – BradfordI've visited Town Hall Tavern on a number of occasions and can safely say I've never been disappointed. A group of 15 of us visited mid-week and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The food came out quickly and was delicious, particularly the mussels. The cocktails are also fantastic and a bit different from the usual Cosmopolitans still found in so many city centre bars. I'd definitely recommend a visit to Town Hall Tavern, whatever the occasion.
Town Hall Tavern – Leeds City CentreI recently dined at Gaucho and loved it. The food was fantastic although a little pricey.

The Manor Farm – HullThis is a seriously good restaurant which is beautifully set out. The food is of a very high standard and the service is fabulous.3 course Sunday lunch is £21 and is very good indeed with generous portions. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed. The A la Carte menu is just as good. Have eaten here many times and it's certainly my favourite by miles !!!
