Took advantage of the early bird 3 course menu on our short break to Harrogate. Excellent value , food cooked to perfection the sweets were to die for. Would certainly recommend it.

Pleas first let me say that it is Raj Pavillion and not paj could be very confusing, secondly if you like Indian food this for me is the only place to eat in Hull have tried just about all the other Indian Restaurants and nothing comes close to matching every detail above

It took an hour for someone to come and take our orders down, then the food took over a hour to arrive. The cost was so expensive. I would highly recommend not going.

The guys here work very hard as you can tell when we entered on a v busy saturday night! Did not think we would get a table as packed owner sorted us out (Chris) Food good Fajhitas the best we have had! word of warning - share a Nachos starter they are HUGE!!

It has been some time since we visited William and Victoria's upstairs restaurant and so were amazed by the transformation! Beautiful decor and the food matched. No wonder Will & Vics was voted Harrogate's favourite restaurant at the 2007 Plush Awards!

My wife and I went to the Box Tree on the 5th October 2007 for our 5th wedding Anniversary. This was a very pleasant experience and the food was flawless and the atmosphere very relaxed. The building it self makes you feel like you are about to experience something very special, it delivered and we will go back again.

I agree with Jannine, I have visited this establishment on many occasions over the last few years and we have always received the same good quality of service and food in a clean pleasant atmosphere. The prices are actually average but portion sizes and service levels make them more modest when compared to other restaurants in Doncaster. Even with a large party the service never suffered (how many other places can you say do that?) and special diets can be accommodated easily. I think I will book for the weekend!

How can this place have no recommendations ?? We went on Monday 23/10 and we delighted to find it was 'All you can eat buffet night' all night. Soup, starters, duck in hoi sin pancakes, main courses, noodles, rice and puddings all for £8.95 a head. It was one of the best chinese's I have been to in ages. You got a clean plate for each course unlike some places where they expect you to use the same plate for everything. This place is no where near where we live but we will be back !

Although we did go on a Thursday night it was very quiet, though we wont complain, the service was A1. There was 6 of us in our party and not one bad comment from the starters to the main course, we all agreed very tasty, hot, and very well presented. We were slightly disappointed with desserts, But this didn't spoil our meal. HIGHLY RECOMENDED *****

I loved everything about this restaurant. The food was excellent and we also sampled the Turkish wine which we quite enjoyed. We had the mezze and thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate and the cost of the whole meal including drinks was extremely reasonable. Will definitely go again.

It's a shame the restaurant doesn't live up to the quality their website tries to invoke. The presentation of the food was nice, but vegeatables seem to be kept to a minimum, a portion ofr two persons was realistically only enough for one. The service was very slow and we had at least 4 different waiters/waitresses for 2 courses and all but one seemed very sullen and miserable. We were charged wrongly for the meal and the waitress dealing with the bill didn't seem very sure of what we should have been charged. We certainly won't be rushing back. It was disappointing.

immigrant workers. hard to communicate. poor draught lagers. would benefit from a line clean. ordered a cheese toastie, and got some cheap salted plain crisps on the plate. tacky.

we really enjoyed our meal. The price was very reasonable, it was a cosy and friendly atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

We went to Kam Sang for my father-in-laws birthday. The services was okay, however the food was poor. They can go anything you like provide It felt to me that they just wanted to give you really average/poor food and charge top price. We all felt ill the next day after the meal and my 10 year old son was put of Chinese food for at least two months. I think there are much better Chinese restaurants out there.

A very good chicken parmo

Joining our friends for a traditional Sunday lunch at the gray ox last weekend was our first visit and will most certainly not be our last, our portions were generous without being over faced and tasty, yes! We had a good look at the evening menu and as mentioned before on this site the early bird looks like a good deal, and with the selection of specials on offer we will certainly make a visit through the week or book a table for the weekend. A great country inn that still has heaps of character, didn't think there were any left!

Went to Ate O'Clock last night on the strength of the reviews on this site, and are very glad we did. 'Small, but perfectly formed' probably sums the place up; food was spot-on - generous portions and cooked beautifully; not cheap, but fairly-priced. Staff very friendly, offering chef's tasters between courses. Had to wait a little while when we first arrived due to a large group in just before us, but didn't spoil the meal. Chef visited all the tables at the end of the evening to check if everyone was happy, which was a nice touch you don't see very often. To top it all there was a great musician there all night. A really amiable chap with an acoustic guitar and encyclopedic repertoire of great music. It really gave the place a great ambiance
