Kiplings Restaurant – Bradfordwe really enjoyed our meal. The price was very reasonable, it was a cosy and friendly atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
Mamma Mia Pepe – SheffieldWe went to Kam Sang for my father-in-laws birthday. The services was okay, however the food was poor. They can go anything you like provide It felt to me that they just wanted to give you really average/poor food and charge top price. We all felt ill the next day after the meal and my 10 year old son was put of Chinese food for at least two months. I think there are much better Chinese restaurants out there.
Kam Sang Restaurant – ScarboroughA very good chicken parmo
Ship Inn The – EstonIt's a shame the restaurant doesn't live up to the quality their website tries to invoke. The presentation of the food was nice, but vegeatables seem to be kept to a minimum, a portion ofr two persons was realistically only enough for one. The service was very slow and we had at least 4 different waiters/waitresses for 2 courses and all but one seemed very sullen and miserable. We were charged wrongly for the meal and the waitress dealing with the bill didn't seem very sure of what we should have been charged. We certainly won't be rushing back. It was disappointing.
Gray Ox – Liversedgeimmigrant workers. hard to communicate. poor draught lagers. would benefit from a line clean. ordered a cheese toastie, and got some cheap salted plain crisps on the plate. tacky.
Bar 100 – NorthallertonJoining our friends for a traditional Sunday lunch at the gray ox last weekend was our first visit and will most certainly not be our last, our portions were generous without being over faced and tasty, yes! We had a good look at the evening menu and as mentioned before on this site the early bird looks like a good deal, and with the selection of specials on offer we will certainly make a visit through the week or book a table for the weekend. A great country inn that still has heaps of character, didn't think there were any left!
Gray Ox – LiversedgeWent to Ate O'Clock last night on the strength of the reviews on this site, and are very glad we did. 'Small, but perfectly formed' probably sums the place up; food was spot-on - generous portions and cooked beautifully; not cheap, but fairly-priced. Staff very friendly, offering chef's tasters between courses. Had to wait a little while when we first arrived due to a large group in just before us, but didn't spoil the meal. Chef visited all the tables at the end of the evening to check if everyone was happy, which was a nice touch you don't see very often. To top it all there was a great musician there all night. A really amiable chap with an acoustic guitar and encyclopedic repertoire of great music. It really gave the place a great ambiance
Ate O Clock – YorkI was quite exited by the reviews I had read of Raymond Blancs new eatery in Leeds and so it was with great expectation that I arrived at what is a tremendous looking restaurant, several visits to the Manchester cousin had never disappointed me, Starters were a little pricey and accompanying salad was roughly presented but the Ham hock Pate was Very nice. My wife's Potato Croquettes were also very nice,Seabream followed which my wife enjoyed (a nice portion of fillet guilthead),However my Duck was a great disappointment raw, rather than medium and Cold rather than hot The Restaurant was busy so maybe just an off night but shall maybe stick to the Petit Blanc next time.
Brasserie Blanc – Leeds City CentreGreat food, let down by average standard of service.
Embers of Haworth – KeighleyGood variety of food on the menu.
Salts Diner – ShipleyA magnificent restaurant, the food is always excellent and of the highest standard. The wine list is just as good. Go back whenever you can.
Drum and Monkey – HarrogateUnbeatable food. The afternoon tea is superb. Make sure you are given a table on the ground floor, not the basement.
Bettys Cafe Tearooms – HarrogateI live in Garforth, so this is probably my nearest restaurant. Thankfully its a very good one. Decor is a very clean, modern take on the Indian theme. Consistently good food and reasonably priced. Very busy on Friday/Saturday nights, but other than that no complaints.
Aagrah Restaurant – GarforthSunday Carvery - Excellent choice and fresh vegetables, home made sweets and good wine a very enjoyable experience which we will be repeating
Station Hotel – HullFabulous rural location on the edge of the moors. Excellent parking. Atmospheric "country pub" with open fires and a traditional cosy seating areas. Food home cooked and excellent with large portions. Friendly service. Perfect as a lunchtime venue(perhaps advisable to book ahead on Sunday)or an evening excursion. Coffee served for walkers( good starting point for many beautiful walks)
Delvers Inn, The – HalifaxOne trip to Le Besi will get you hooked, whether you fancy lunch, dinner or just coffee & dessert you will be amazed!! Not only is the food out of this world & very well priced the staff will do their up most to accommodate you. The owner is a friendly man as are all the staff he employs. The Christmas menu looks delicious & we are really looking forward to our office Christmas lunch there, but book early to avoid disappointment!! M'shell :)
La Besi Restaurant – Leeds City CentreWe celebrated my husband's birthday here, last weekend, it was such a special evening. Kenny, Jane and their team did a fantastic job. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and the service superb. The food could not be faulted, generous portions, all cooked to perfection and reasonably priced for the quality. What ever the occasion, if you are in York, I'd recommend you eat here, you will not be disappointed!
