very good place for special occasions, and never had any problems with the food or service. Portion sizes look small BUT very filling so don't be fooled.

We booked on Fri 8 December & managed to get a table for 4 for half an hour later. On arrival the restaurant was very busy & the atmosphere was buzzing. I think the building, a former bank with very high ceilings added to the atmosphere, as it was slightly echoey. Although very busy, the service was good and staff friendly. There was quite a bit of table moving going on throughout the evening, which was a bit distracting, but maybe this was to accommodate some of the larger Christmas parties booked in. The food was very good. The two teenagers had pizzas and the adults had steaks. The steaks were cooked to our individual requirements as it should be, and was of very good quality - the sauces we both had were good. Portions were of a good size. Our daughter and her friend had the chocolate fudge cake to finish, which they both thought was the best they had had, and not as sticky & sickly as it sometimes can be. It had tiny pieces of fudge in - portions were of a good size for those with a large appetite. We had the house wine, which was good and very well priced. Cost of food was slightly higher than you normally get in your average Italian restaurant, but quality was good and therefore good value for money. Don't know when we'll be back as we were just in Sheffield for the weekend, but would certainly recommend Rossi's, and we would visit again if ever back in Sheffield.

Having been to Thailand on holiday 3 times it was always going to be a struggle to find the same standard of freshness and quality back home. Chaophraya more than exceeded my expectations. The service was second to none, the atmosphere authentic and the food absolutely fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant. I took my parents there a few months ago - the first time they had eaten Thai. They are now addicted! Superb!

Food is wonderful. Tasty, filling and great value for money. Use the takeaway and save even more money.

this was the first time we had been to the fox house and we would recommend it to anyone who was looking for a good freshly cooked meal a nice change from all the chain menus around today excellent value for money, our only criticism would be wear a jumper because the dining room was a bit chilly

I love Dandelion and Burdock ..... I am not a veggie... vegan ... but I have a lot of friends who are and I have recently become more aware of the shameful way that animals are treated .... I am on a journey and who knows I may cut out meat eventually ..... Anyway I thought I would be daring and try a highly recommended Vegetarian restaurant ... what can is say .. except wow ... amazing food and great ambience .... and afterwards for a good old drink .... Try the Puzzle Hall (ask the owner for directions ) for great live music and good atmosphere ........ a wannabe veggie .. getting there .. and a great night in Sowerby Bridge

While it's not easy to spot from the road - we drove past it twice - this is a nice little place with good service and a remarkable selection of beers. We had the Christmas menu and were very impressed, particularly by the tomato soup and the creme brulee. Will be back.

I think it is worth trying. You will not regret it whatsoever.

Everyone should eat here. The food is lovely and its suitable for dates, business lunches, catching up with friends and taking your mum to. Been about 8 times in the past three years and never been disappointed.

This is without doubt the finest Thai restaurant We have eaten in. The surroundings are all original Thai. The menu is extensive though the professional staff (all in their authentic Thai dress) make understanding easy and the standard of service cannot be faulted. The biggest surprise of the evening was the bill, modest for this standard of dining. We have no hesitation of recommending to friends.

What a lovely little restaurant, had the Christmas menu the starter, main and dessert were outstanding very nice, and taking your own wine was no problem... will definitely go back in the new year.... excellent all round. . .

It is a very nice pub with a warm welcome all staff are friendly and helpful they meet your needs to the best they can. They deserve a pay rise, as you can tell when you go in however they are low on staff and should employ some more. apart from that everything is great.

We have been here a couple of times and can't recommend it enough, can't wait to go back again! Best place around for miles! Try it if you haven't already, you will be over the moon !!!!

This is a great place for a quick bite to eat or a special occasion. Food served quickly, presented well and with a smile! Look out for the cheeky scouse waitress who made our visit so memorable! Top marks to Nandos! We'll be back!

We love Wood hall - the food and service are amazing. Very reasonable if you go for Sunday lunch as it is £20 per son for three courses!
