Was very pleasantly surprised with the choice on offer and having now frequented Cafe Passion, I can safely say that everything ordered so far was of a high standard.

Service was friendly and prompt. We arrived early and the place was very quiet and pleasant. The food we had was picked from an early bird menu and when it arrived it the portions were good sizes, freshly cooked, very hot and delicious. Would recommend and we shall be going again.

Dined out midweek in the a la carte area which is upstairs. The food was superb, the choice was fantastic and the ambience was tasteful and relaxed. Service at the Eastern Court was brisk and efficient, though certainly without any superfluous chit chat - be prepared for this if you intend to go as otherwise it may spoil your evening! There were 9 of us dining, and we were comfortably seated around a large table with a lazy Susan middle. It was a Thursday evening and the place was certainly busy without being overcrowded. The food was unanimously splendid, quantities were sufficient and enjoyed. Presentation was to a good standard. As we had made a reservation for the table, the food was half price, which was pleasant, with no evidence of any 'discounting' on the quality of the meal.

My husband and his cronies go every Thursday, and I always suggest a take-away once a week as well. It's hard to find a better curry anywhere. Thanks for being in Holmfirth!

An excellent location, friendly staff and good food. An ideal location to watch countrylife and relax in the gardens on a warm sunny day. Perfect for tea and sandwiches, used by walkers and cyclists. Parking available for the less energetic.

I had and amazing time at the Hobbit and would recommend it to anyone! The staff were brilliant and very helpful as well as the food being to the best standard.

What can I say - this place is cocktails in Leeds - I had my birthday party in Boutique and the drinks were amazing - the cocktail menu is to die for and before I leave this planet I will try them all!! Obviously not in one night - coming back? - keep me out!!! Diane xxxxx

Great restaurant and Cafe. The atmosphere is relaxed, warm friendly and real. Easy for parking and realistic in pricing. Food is fab, perfect combination of flavour, texture and portion, just great! Highly recommend.

Fantastic, i love fratellis, it is without a doubt the best place to eat in doncaster, everything was cooked to perfection, and meals probably cost between 15-25 pp.

There is a new style here with modern food in a modern setting. A two course steak big meal for two with wine is £25. There is a Specials Board at about £8. All very good and worth a visit.

I go to Amaans twice a week and live 8 miles away i am thinking of moving closer just so i can live next to this bloody lovely Indian. I recommend the chicken tikka handi or balti beautiful. long live Amaans.

My favourite place to eat. I have returned many times with various friends and family and everyone loves it. The staff are so welcoming and friendly The food is delicious. Ive tried many different dishes and have never been disappointed. Keep up the good work Heather and Rico.

This 2 for 1 eatery is as you would expect. The food is edible and there is plenty of it. I would imagine this place is good if you are with people who aren't too fussy about the quality and go more for quantity. I suppose you get what you pay for so don't expect haute cuisine.

Have eaten here a few times and have always found the food to be good, hot and in abundance. Whilst the food is good, the service is a little lacking, espescially in customer service and general manners. The last two times I visited I was met by the waiter at the door looking at his watch. We were told that we could eat but we had to be in and out within 30 minutes. This makes for a hurried and unenjoyable meal (compounded by the fact that our drinks didn't arrive until 5 minutes before we had been asked to leave) It could be said that it was our fault and that we had been given warning HOWEVER whilst we were sat eating a couple arrived, sat in the buffet section, ordered drinks and were then asked by the head waiter if they would like to continue dining elsewhere in the builing as he was about to ask people to leave. Please note that if you like Chinese food (and good quality Chinese food) then this place is one of the better restaurants offering a buffet service. Be advised to make sure you don't sit down to eat near any of the overlap times as you will either be asked to leave prematurely or will be waiting............ and waiting............... and waiting to get your food. Eastern Court - Thumbs up for your food, thumbs down for your service.

If you fancy a good feed without breaking the bank, get to Central Park for one of their famous burgers. Loads of choice from Hawaian to bacon & blue cheese, loaded with salad, relish and mayo, spicy curly fries etc. They also do steaks and lasagne - a typical English/American menu

Close to the bars of Doncaster, yet so far away. This fine hostelry is all 18th century coaching inn on the outside, while the interior is pure 2005:bright & minimalist. Its a place to partake of proper food - no stack & drizzle nonsense. Where cooking is a full plated affair, unfussy, though not lacking precision. Fearsomely good starters include a black pudding hot pot. The mains brandishing portion control towards the thick end of considerable veer between the safety of a T bone steak & the in you-faceness of the main street monster pie-steak & ale pie, buttery pastry & just a cow horn or 2 away from an appearance in the Dandy. There's even an orchard doubling as a beer garden - something you won't find in most pubs-but the Cadeby Inn isn't most pubs & well worth a visit.
