A lovely village pub, my friend and I go for lunch most Fridays, and we are never disappointed. The food is really good and the staff are so helpful and friendly. We love it!

We enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch at the Bricklayers yesterday. It was our first visit and we enjoyed it immensely. The beer was great, the service was fantastic and the food was terrific. We shall certainly return in the future and have already recommended it to friends.

Food at the Bricklayers was perfect very tasty and more than enough on the plate. The decor was impressive and pleasant. We go regularly and would recommend it to everyone.

3 of us had the most delicious Sunday lunch yesterday. We all had roast beef which was amazing. The portion sizes were great and the food quality fantastic. The staff were wonderful and the service excellent. Could not fault it at all. We will certainly be back. Thank you for a great experience.

Went on Wednesday for build a burger night. Was fantastic. Great food and great service.

Arrived for dinner having booked online day before, I had looked at the menu before!! Was very disappointed to find that the restaurant was only Serving burgers which we didn’t want to have!! Left after a drink, Staff failed to tell us before it was only serving burgers!!

Very good three course Sunday lunch. Liver Pate, Roast Beef and a superb Lemon Posset. All the staff we encountered were very welcoming and attentive without being intrusive.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch, plenty of food, very tasty and good value. Lovely atmosphere. We will be back

Excellent meal for ny husbands birthday lunch. Service was perfect not too rushed and menu was happily tweeked to suit our personal requirements

Lovely Sunday roast ,loads of meat ,very good value for money ,need air con though very stuffy in there . The waitresses weren’t the quickest ( younger ones)and need to ask about allergies before ordering not after ordering and come back x

ambience good beer good esp Ghost Ship staff always well trained and pleasant good menu although I would like the pub to use better quality steaks ie meat hung for longer possibly This pub is our 'go to ' for a good meal.

Great food and fantastic service. The waiter who served us was very good at spotting when me and my mate were low on beer. Top waiter but all of them were Highly recommended. As the great philosopher Arnold Swarzenegger once said ‘I’ll be back’
