Booked for 6 of us to celebrate two up -coming birthdays. The waiter was very patient with us while we took time choosing our food. The suggested wine was lovely. Service excellent. Food great value and good. The only disappointment was that they had no lasagne left, which is my fave. We will definitely be back at some point.

Cheikhos Restaurant – LeicesterThe whole evening was lovely, Mum's birthday treat, and was just that ... a treat. Really excellent food, cosy atmosphere and polite, efficient service. The front of house was only one man, who never stopped the whole time - but whether it was greeting new customers, serving tables or making drinks his calm efficiency made it all work. We can only judge the kitchen by the food that came out of it, and that was excellent, well presented, hot and tasty. 10 out of 10 all round.

We were slightly disappointed that there were a number of items off the menu but it was great nonetheless. We do miss the Tandoori flat breads though.

And the service was flawless - friendly, courteous and professional The atmosphere was also very lovely - its a really comfortable setting with a great vibe We will be back!
