Ellenders is a bit of a hidden gem tucked out of the way at the Boston united football ground. We went for the first time in response to a post we saw on Facebook about a French themed night. On our arrival we were greeted by staff who had dressed as caricatures of traditional french waiters which was fun. Although we were 30 mins early we were shown to our table and duly presented with a glass of champagne which was included in the set meal price. Service was quick but unobtrusive although it was still relatively quiet at that time. All three courses were well presented, of good portion size and very tasty. Overall we were impressed and have already booked to visit again. Definitely worth a visit if you’ve never been before.

I went yesterday for a family meal (table of 6) We were seated quickly and our order taken fairly quickly too. Unfortunately there was food under our table from before us that had not been cleared away. We asked for a jug of water to have with our drinks and this didn’t arrive until our food came despite asking a few times and the jug that came was cracked and leaked water over the table. I ordered a kids meal for my daughter who is one and unfortunately noticed the cucumber still had the plastic on! Luckily I noticed before she tried to eat the cucumber. We all had roasts that were lovely and had lots of flavour, I flagged up about the plastic on the cucumber and they removed the kids meal from our bill and took 10% off the total bill. Mixed experience for us really and first time I have visited. Not sure I would go back.

Excellent food but very small portions (baby back ribs ) Also no child menu !! The food that came was delicious and the staff amazing! Overall was a lovely afternoon. Thanks

Food is fantastic, I have brought my friends and family here several times. It’s our go to venue. Friendly helpful staff, it’s a real credit to the club.

Genuinely one of the best burger places I’ve been too. The food was fantastic even if it was served on a slate which would be my only gripe. Our server Bekah was brilliant, really friendly and welcoming, as were the owners. Would 100% recommended a visit to anyone looking for a nice meal in Lincoln. Well done guys keep up the great work!!

Amazing burgers, excellent, quick service, good value for money Came here last night with family for a quick dinner. The hot dogs were great but the burgers were outstanding! The service was super friendly and efficient. Glad we booked as it was pretty busy. We came here last year and they did manage to fit us in but it was busy then too, so best to book in advance if you can. Really nice buzzy atmosphere, not rowdy at all (our kids are 10 and 11 so we wanted somewhere lively but not too loud/crazy). We'll be back next time we visit Lincoln again!

This was our first time at ellenders, we came as 5 sets of couples for the valentines day meal and it was better than anticipated. The food was absolutely incredible, the best we've had in a long time. We all had the 2 course set menu, I personally had the teriayki salmon and I've never had salmon like it, it was cooked perfectly. Very good value for money. All the little touches made it feel really romantic, the glass of prosecco with fruit on arrival, candles on the tables and red heart helium balloons on all the tables. The staff were really friendly and helpful, there was a really good atmosphere which all contributed to a perfect night. The drinks were reasonably priced and the cocktails were gorgeous. I would definitely recommend coming here and we will be coming back again soon. Thank you to the chef and staff for a great evening

This is only the 2nd time we have been to Ellenders. We came for the Valentines meal and the food was incredible, complements to the chef. The set menu for 3 couses was amazng value for money. The finishing touches to the eveing were so thoughtfull. Glass off prosseco on arrival with fruit in the glass, red helium heart balloons on the table, the Valentines cocktails were delicious and when you received the bill you got complementary chocolate hearts and love heart sweets in a little red bag. The whole evening was romantic and just perfect i could not fault a think. I'd definitely recommend and would love to tried a themed night next. Thankyou
