Food was lovely no complaints. Server was pleasant and kind (in training so lacking a little confidence). Could do with an actual children's menu as there is very little in the way of options of smaller meals on the menu. We hadn't been back here since before the pandemic but the menu is completely different meaning it wasn't the same experience as we had before (which we thoroughly enjoyed) this time not so much. Like I say the food was lovely and staff were friendly just wasn't the same experience as before.

Came with a friend, we both had garlic mushrooms on sourdough. It was delicious!

I have visited The Kitchen several times, and have usually had no problem. However having booked a table for 3 people for Sunday 26th June, we were dismayed to be informed that the restaurant had run out of roast meals. This was at 2 pm on Sunday, the rest of the menu for Sundays is very limited, and it seems very odd to have run out of roast dinners on a Sunday. We were very disappointed, in addition the service was very slow and not the usual standard. This has put me off of visiting again .

I've enjoyed meals here twice, once in the evening and once at lunchtime. Each time the staff have gone out of their way to be efficient and helpful and the food has been exceptionally good. There were 10 of us on the day we had lunch, after a nice, long walk at Frampton Marsh, and we phoned our order through from there. As a result we had only a short time to wait to be served a variety of menu choices and everyone in the party was delighted with the quality of the food. Special thanks to Rachel and Sonia for service with a smile!

Myself and my family have been coming here for a few years now and both the quality of food and service is exceptional. The staff are extremely friendly which helps provide a very relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Popped in for a meal before a show at the theatre across the road, beautiful restaurant, friendly staff and truly amazing food, the burgers cannot be beaten! We brought a very fussy dad with us and it’s become his new favourite place to eat! Will be returning

We celebrated my husband's birthday here. No 'kids menu' as such but my children (4 & 6) found plenty of choices on the menu. Lovely food, excellent, quick service. Hot fresh food. Extra treat for a birthday even though not pre notified.

Was disappointed that the main menu was taken off for fatherday and was only a Sunday one that offered no mix grill or stake, we all know that's what dad's like, other then that the service was good and food was nice from the limited menu we had

What a shame....came for father's Day with the in-laws. First time having Sunday lunch so not sure what to expect. Food came out and thought not a lot of veg but there was roasted carrots and parsnips on plate. Therefore we ate up only to see the next table get their food and low and behold a large bowl of fresh veg. The young waitress was slightly disinterested when comment was made. She did go and speak to chef but then never said a word until a while later when she said they would discount the meal. Hubby went to pay.....no discount given. It is a shame because we have been here a couple of times and loved our food. Word of advice customer service is not complicated. Staff at very least should be apologetic for the mistakes made and would have been nice for a manager to have explained what had happened.

Good food and service.

Visited for Father's Day. Food good, service appalling. On entering a restaurant I expect to be shown to my table, and not have it vaguely pointed out. Had to ask a waitress to take a drinks order which didn't turn up, had to ask again. Food was good, nothing outstanding. Had to ask again to order pudding, ordered tea at the same time, which was tepid and had to be replaced. I noticed lots of people requesting their bill, which wasn't followed up with a card machine to the table, so people queuing at the bar to pay. All in all disappointed, offers so much delivers so little. What could be a nice place to eat within my community I don't feel I can be bothered to visit again. Much nicer places locally with substantially better, less surly service.

Visited Saturday lunch as an early Father’s Day treat -7 of us including a 2 and 3 year old Lovely service as always - high chairs provided menus altered to suit ,children ,gluten free and fussy eaters Good size portions - huge fish in fish and chips Staff friendly Would recommend this little gem of a place

Good service and good food. My husband was very pleased with the grain store beer. Will come again.

We took some friends to Huckleberrys for the first time, and it did not disappoint. The food was piping hot and delicious. I had the dirty mac and cheese (incredible) and a full rack of ribs which were perfectly prepared. The servers were excellent, prompt and friendly, and we had constant refills of drinks despite it being a busy service. The bench seating we were on was a little worse for wear, but this was quickly forgotten once the food started arriving.
