Ellenders – BostonVisited on the 23/02. Arrived at 7:30pm, ordered food and drink within 10 minutes after arriving. Unfortunately food arrived at 20:55. 1 hour 15 mins after ordering. My friends steak was rare and should have been medium, but she didn’t dare send it back due to the already long wait. Garlic bread was cold as it had been sat for some time whilst they dished the meals up. Service ok, but the lad behind the bar quite rude. Our waitress was lovely and very apologetic. It’s a lovely place and the food is good, but it will soon have big issues if they don’t address the food timings and some staff attitudes sooner rather than later.
Ellenders – BostonMy wife and I dined on Valentine's night. The whole atmosphere worked very well. From the glass of prosecco on entry, to the heart shaped box of chocolates on departure. As usual the meal was first class. The service was quick and very professional. We shall be returning soon.

Ellenders – BostonI booked for my daughters 10th birthday, she plays football for BUFC and we wanted an after match gathering for her and her teammates. Claire was very helpful in organising for 12 children and supported with menu choices and all dietary requirements were catered for. The front of house team were more than happy to assist with decorations etc. Fully appreciated that we picked a busy Sunday lunchtime and the children/parents had a great time. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful facility available.

Only negative was we waited a while for our starters but after that the service was excellent. A little expensive but you don't mind if the food is of great quality Will be back in 3 weeks for hopefully another great meal.
Ellenders – Boston2 of us had an early evening meal last night. The food was very nicely presented, was nice and hot and tasted delicious. The waitresses were lovely, polite and attentive and the current offer made our meal excellent value. Have had a number of meals at Ellendars now ranging from a light lunch through to 3 course meal and its always great. A lovely venue, that's a mix of modern and traditional which works really well.

Ellenders – BostonWe usually eat at The Kitchen when staying at the adjacent hotel. We did so again yesterday for lunch. The Kitchen is a spacious restaurant with a varied menu consisting of favourites such as fish and chips, lasagne, burgers, salads, sandwiches etc. All the portions are generous and cooked well. My haddock and chips yesterday was excellent. We can't fault the food and the staff are friendly. The only feedback we would give is the staff don't mention the specials. Although these are written on a blackboard, this isn't visible to all tables. I only saw the specials board when I visited the toilets at the end of the meal. The specials on offer were significantly different from the menu and provided slightly more unusual choices. I would suggest either several special boards around the large restaurant or for staff to highlight the specials of the day when greeting customers. Overall though, a pleasant, clean, spacious venue with good, honest 'pub grub'.
The Kitchen – Spaldingwent with the family for sunday lunch. the food and service were both excellent. will be booking again for another family gathering.
Ellenders – BostonFirst time visiting and 2 of us came for Sunday lunch. Both had beef and it was delicious. The meal was hot and roast potatoes were scrumpy. We also had a desert each on the 'free desert with each Sunday Lunch' offer currently on and they were also very tasty. Maybe slightly overpriced for portion size if not on the deal, but for a treat going out to eat would be acceptable occasionally. Staff were attentive and friendly. Service was welcoming and at the right speed, although it wasn't overly busy so the staff didn't seem rushed. Atmosphere nice, a little chilly but that's personally preference. Will visit again.
