Overall the Sunday Roast was good, lots of tender Pork, Fabulous Crackling and fresh crunchy Vegetables, let down by Roast Potatoes, very rubbery, nice Stuffing and Gravy. Staff very polite, but not very attentive, we were not asked if we wanted more Drinks, Sweet or Coffee, loss of revenue opportunity. A few noisy children.

Disappointed. The pie I had was pre prepared. Would be nice to have food that isn’t heated up.

Love The Kitchen, great food and lots of it. Nice calm atmosphere with friendly professional staff. Prices are reasonable too. Since moving to Lincs a year ago this is one of the nicest restaurants we have found.

Lovely meal. Can not believe they are not open during the earlier part of the week. I used to love going for the 3 course set menu. Would love for this to return.

Came for lunch with a friend had fish finger sandwiches which were nice but bread a bit curly . Had scones and specifically ask if it came with clotted cream which they advised it did although when came was not and not sure what it was but wasn’t nice to the point I had to take it back off my scone ☹️

3 of us ate at The Kitchen on Friday evening. Pleasant, friendly staff. The restaurant was not overly busy but nonetheless the appearance of 5 staff standing at the bar area in conversation probably does not display the best image to diners. Food was good, however my Mac n’ Cheese dish was only just hot. It would be good to see the menu refreshed more often.

I bought my son here yesterday. It’s about my 10 th visit. He has Downs Syndrome. I come here because the staff treat us so nicely. They are friendly and helpful and most of all, patient and cheerful with my son. I regret I didn’t see the names of the 3 or 4 women who served us, but I would like to give them a big THANK YOU

An OK experience, nothing to shout out about. Three different servers asked to take our drinks order so clearly some communication problems among the team. Slightly overpriced - £12 for a “salad” which consisted of some salad leaves and a weirdly decorated plate of tomato and cucumber slices. The ingredients would have only cost maximum of £3! Goats cheese and caramelised onion sandwiches were great, however. They were filled to the brim. All in all, I won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

Food is okay but slightly overpriced for what you actually get. I paid £27 for 2 soft drinks , 1 Cesar salad and 1 sandwich.. the sandwich came with about 2 lettuce leaves and a handful of ready salted crisps. Rather boring. Also on 2 separate occasions there have been drinks out of stock. Won’t be coming back
