We pre-booked which I think is best as this is a very popular place. I’m not surprised either.

We met some friends for our first visit to Ellenders. We were greeted at the door and show to our seats with menus. Our drinks order was quickly taken and drinks arrived. Our food order was taken , and all three courses arrived with a comfortable spacing .The quality was excellent and was enjoyed by all of us . Obviously a talented team in the kitchen. We will be back !!

Another great meal at Ellenders, food was fantastic and the service was great. The quality and value for money is just outstanding. The atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxing and laid back. Highly recommend this fantastic restaurant and bar to anyone.

Went as a family recently (4 adults 2 kids) Thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed it...steak and ale pie was delicious. All freshly cooked.. this is not a boil in the bag place !

As on all occasions, the meal was very enjoyable and the staff were excellent. Highly recommended.

Our party of 6 had a selection of starters, mains and desserts with drinks - both alcoholic and non. Our orders came out in good time, despite the restaurant being busy during Sunday lunch. We made the right decision of booking a table! Our servers were polite and on hand if anything was required. Our food was tasty, portions were generous and the food was hot. We would certainly go again. Thank you to the serving staff.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating and so lovely towards our 2 year old son, we couldn’t of asked for anymore. Food was delicious too!

Lovely Sunday lunch except that the roast potatoes on my vegan Sunday lunch were hard. My husband's potatoes on his pork lunch were nicely done.

Really enjoyed our meal. Very tasty, good value for money and friendly staff!! We will definately be back
