As always, and we've been coming last 8 years for Champions League nights, Scouse was marvelous for 3 of our party, I had the Frank Sinatra pizza,have to say up there with best pizzas I've ever had, and I've been to Italy and States, staff as usual great,and so welcoming, cant speak highly enough to be honest..

Great food. Great service. Always top quality food and friendly atmosphere.

This place is always on point, the food is fantastic and the staff are always very friendly. Definitely one of our favourites in the city

We love eating here we normally go for the pizza but the 3 of us went for Scouse and loved it

We had a seat by the window it was lovely view of the water front. Food was delicious and plentiful. Value for money and great service even though it was busy.

The pub was empty when we were there and when people did start coming in about one.... No one watched the huge horrible awful televisions.... Spoilt our whole experience, there was no sport on, just people chatting about it.... Great food but won t return as I hate TV s in pubs, sad.

Booked a table ahead of a theatre visit after reading reviews. They were not wrong! Lovely little pub with great atmosphere. Food was excellent. We shared a pizza, salad and olives. All freshly prepared and delicious. The beer wasn’t bad either! Staff friendly and helpful. We will certainly be back !

Another great Scouse and pizza with the usual excellent service

A first visit to Ma Egertons and won’t be my last. Great service from all the staff both our dishes were amazing and quite filling - couldn’t fault it and a great location for the theatre

Love love love this place, come here just for the scouse which is delicious. Bar staff lovely, very friendly and helpful. Perfect to visit before the theatre

Great friendly and efficient service despite only two staff working. Excellent portion sizes for the brilliant value two course menu. Tasty and well presented dishes. A great pre theatre place to eat.

We have visited this restaurant on many occasions as the food is always good. Our latest visit was booked on line which was simple, the staff were very attentive throughout the visit. It was noted by my wife and myself that the size of the food portions was decidedly smaller than they used to be which is a real shame, its enough of an issue for us to go elsewhere in the future. As part of our order, we ordered garlic bread and extra fries, unfortunately they arrived at our table at least 10 minutes after our main course was served, at this point we really didn't want them. Great food though, disappointed about the meal size and part of the service.

Unfortunately Fajitas were not very warm. Skillet was hot but food wasn't! Could have done with more sour cream etc, as food was a little bland. Only being honest.
