Love it in here, not a big menu but what there is is fantastic, pizzas, scouse, salads. I had warm chicken salad, hummus and pitta bread, my husband had a bowl of scouse , red cabbage and crusty bread. We never left a crumb!

Atmosphere was great! Drink service was quick, food service was slow. Chicken Wings hard. Main courses cold. Was in a rush so literally didn’t have time to mention the above. Sorry, not great really.

Food was really nice, no delays and attentive service bearing in mind we had three youngsters with us. But very expensive. Bottle each of non alcoholic cider and non alcoholic beer, £15!!.

A lovely meal; great atmosphere and service. Unbelievably good value for money too!

I LOVE dining here. The service is always so personable and fast. The front of house team honestly can never do enough for you and the food is delicious. It is always fresh and has great portion sizes!

Slow bringing food out, food came out and chips were luke warm. Chicken fajitas contained hardly any chicken.. barely enough to make 3 small wraps out of the 5 given. Which was a shame as the actual meal tasted lovely! Just not much for the price you pay. Chicken burger bun soggy on the bottom.

Once again great attentive service from the serving staff at Whats Cooking.. Food was excellent and arrived promptly. Booking again for my next event

Booked for me and my daughters so we could have something to eat before we went to see Paul weller. We were stuck in traffic so we phoned the to let them know. We were only 15 minutes late and we were seated and served very quickly. Friendly staff, great food and quite reasonable. I will come again.

Great food and great price..excellent service

Booked a table here pre theatre forlast night ( Tuesday June 16th) due to proximity ti station and theatre. Great little proper old pub. Friendly staff … super fast and efficient service, good wine and beer choice. Menu is only small but lovely food … we both had Scouse as our mums would make it. Good portion and delicious. Excellent value.

Been here many times. Food is lovely and great value for money. Service is great staff are always lovely. Can’t fault it
