Have been to Ma Egerton's Stage Door a few times as the scouse is the best in Liverpool. The staff are so friendly, professional and courteous. A great traditional pub with a great atmosphere!

Souvla will. I think, become our go-to restaurant when visiting the Philharmonic Hall. Excellent in every way.

We booked a table for 12.45 for lunch before the show at the empire theatre, the food was excellent also the staff where very friendly. Only complaint was the Guinness could of been better.if you are going to the theatre book this great pub x

We always love the food at Souvla. This time we tried the fish platter and did not disappoint, it was very fresh and full of flavour. The starters were delicious too. They always look after you and service is excellent. The atmosphere is always very cozy and relaxed.

Came for a city break from Derbyshire. We had a wonderful time visiting a show at the Empire and then a meal at Ma Egertons. It was recommended by a lady from Liverpool who we met in Greece last year. The atmosphere was fantastic and the staff were really friendly. Enjoyed the Scouse which we hadn’t had before. Will definitely return here!

Went for the first time yesterday with friends why have we never been here before. Great welcome from staff the famous scouse was the best we have ever had .Yesterday may have been our first visit certainly won’t be our last highly recommended

Ordered the Scouse and as always its the best scouse anywhere. Menu is good with lots of choice and the portions are generous. Have never had any reason to complain .

I used to visit the knutsford what's cooking on a regular basis until it closed about 25 years ago. So during recent stay in Liverpool I seemed a shame to not visit the Albert dock restaurant. It didn't disappoin , with the Ribs being as tender and tasty as I'd remembered. Good steak and burgers too. Staff were also excellent and up for a laugh. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be back soon.

Scouse excellent as usual. My first choice of a pre-theatre meal. Value for money in a lively atmosphere with good service. If I lived nearer my visits would be more frequent.

The garlic and cheese bread was not good could not taste any garlic, when the main course turned up the chips were cold. we got another portion after complaining but only one portion not two and the colesaw was full of lumps. Will not be going back !

Tasty food & generous portions. Excellent service from attentive servers. Not a huge menu but what they do they do well. Recommended for pre theatre food.

Booked for pre theatre dining again. Had a laurel & hardy pizza and west side story charcuterie board - as always the food was fabulous. The atmosphere in the pub was lively and the staff were really pleasant. We love coming here. We don’t live locally otherwise it would be more often.

Our favourite pub in Liverpool and a regular visit for us. The pizzas are amazing and the friendliest atmosphere and staff.

Had a lovely meet up with family in this great pub. It’s so handy for us to meet up right by Lime Street Station. Food was lovely two of us had ploughman’s lunch delicious and two had the Scouse I was told the best Scouse they had tasted. Service was lovely. Will definitely be returning.Thank you all.
