I came with my family to celebrate my 50th birthday.Everyone enjoyed there food ,lovely atmosphere and staff went above and beyond

Went for the first time yesterday with friends why have we never been here before. Great welcome from staff the famous scouse was the best we have ever had .Yesterday may have been our first visit certainly won’t be our last highly recommended

Had a lovely meal ....Hubby rated ribs as best he's had since steakhouse in USA !

Ordered the Scouse and as always its the best scouse anywhere. Menu is good with lots of choice and the portions are generous. Have never had any reason to complain .

I used to visit the knutsford what's cooking on a regular basis until it closed about 25 years ago. So during recent stay in Liverpool I seemed a shame to not visit the Albert dock restaurant. It didn't disappoin , with the Ribs being as tender and tasty as I'd remembered. Good steak and burgers too. Staff were also excellent and up for a laugh. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be back soon.

As always, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Ma Egertons. Excellent food, friendly service, and an amazing atmosphere.

Scouse excellent as usual. My first choice of a pre-theatre meal. Value for money in a lively atmosphere with good service. If I lived nearer my visits would be more frequent.

The garlic and cheese bread was not good could not taste any garlic, when the main course turned up the chips were cold. we got another portion after complaining but only one portion not two and the colesaw was full of lumps. Will not be going back !

Tasty food & generous portions. Excellent service from attentive servers. Not a huge menu but what they do they do well. Recommended for pre theatre food.

Booked for pre theatre dining again. Had a laurel & hardy pizza and west side story charcuterie board - as always the food was fabulous. The atmosphere in the pub was lively and the staff were really pleasant. We love coming here. We don’t live locally otherwise it would be more often.

Our favourite pub in Liverpool and a regular visit for us. The pizzas are amazing and the friendliest atmosphere and staff.

Had a lovely meet up with family in this great pub. It’s so handy for us to meet up right by Lime Street Station. Food was lovely two of us had ploughman’s lunch delicious and two had the Scouse I was told the best Scouse they had tasted. Service was lovely. Will definitely be returning.Thank you all.

We visit Souvla regularly, the food is incredible; fresh, flavourful and delicious! On top of that the service is excellent, attentive to just the right degree. Highly recommend!

Great food, quick and friendly service at an excellent price

Food was excellent, a wide variety of choice and also a great drinks menu including a selection of cocktails and mocktails. Portion sizes were generous. Unfortunately the service was not good at all. We were a party of 8 and asked for 2 bills but they brought our food separately! So one half of the party had finished before the other 4 got their starters. We asked if we could eat our mains together but this didn’t happen either. We waited 40 minutes between courses and30 minutes for drinks. This needs to get sorted as it spoiled our experience
