Gorgeous Scouse at good price Lovely little pub

We were a party of 6. 4 adults, 2 children. I introduced my brother to this restaurant for the first time this evening. The atmosphere was perfect. Right soundtrack (nostalgia). All staff members were accommodating and nothing was an issue. Order placed and correct order received. Food and drink was plentiful. The menu was just right with some quirky offerings. Some negatives. One starter was finger food. A complimentary hand wipe would have been a great touch. The last I felt the food needed to be a bit hotter but it was extremely tasty! Will we return? Of course we will!

The was our first getaway and first meal together since August 2022 minus the children! From the moment we walked into the venue, we were greeted straight away and seated almost instantly. The atmosphere was very welcoming for all, from couples to families. We were given instructions and menu’s straight away and informed of return shortly. Ordered drinks, reasonably priced. £11 for a cocktail which was lovely! Then ordered food, 2 x Steaks. Food was fresh and hot, steak was cooked perfectly to our liking. BOTH Servers of our table were attentive and courteous at all times. Very present. From start to finish our experience could not be faulted. We would 100% eat here again and recommend to others. We came to Souvla after visiting the Cathedrals. I had the houmus followed by the pork schnitzel. My companions had garlic bread followed by the loaded chicken fries. Our waitress was absolutely charming. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. Oustanding value for money: I have paid a lot more for worse!

Nice place, good atmosphere. Staff were friendly and made ordering food/drinks easy. Food was good, not rushed and clearly cooked to order. Staff serving were standout though to me, made the difference.

Pre-theatre meal at Ma Egertons again. As always good vibes, good food and very good staff. I find booking best to avoid disappointment.

Amazing service as soon as we walked in. Drink ordered and served in minutes. Food was delicious nice and hot! We didn't have to ask for another drink they asked us. We can't wait to return.

Staff was amazing. We were a party of 6 and all agreed that the Food was really poor. Very bland. Chicken and chips/salad came out in a high rounded curry dish? This has Changed from the first time we went as was on a proper plate and food was very nice and had flavour. Chicken this time looked soggy and anaemic. Not many chips either for the price. The ribs were £9.50 for 4 tiny bones with not much meat. Wouldn’t go again due to this. Far too overpriced for what you get
