We visited 30.1.20 for my hubby's Birthday. First of all the restaurant is gorgeous and the decor is superb. It was spotless and extremely well decorated. We were greeted warmly and our request for a quiet table was accommodated. We had great banter with the barman whilst waiting for our table, again very friendly. The food was impeccable. I had prawns which were amazing and my hubby had the calamari, which he said was the best he had eaten. We both chose kebabs for our mains. Again, these were really tasty and a great portion. Service was just right and all staff were polite and very friendly. Christakis personally made us feel very welcome. You can tell he was meant for the restaurant business. It makes a change going to a restaurant and having a meaningful chat with the owner, who takes a personal interest in his customers. Even after me telling him it was my hubby's birthday, he sent out a cake for him. We both said this is definitely our favorite restaurant and we had a wonderful night. Visited for the first time a few days ago. Food was great, excellent service from friendly staff. Great value offers during the week too. Will be back.

we went for a meal early on tuesday evening so it was a bit quite , the place it's self was nice and clean , warm and well set out , the service was good and our waiter"big george" was very welcoming and attentive through out our meal , the food was very nice , the plates were hot which meant the food was aswell i can't fault the place and will return again . I don't know were it gets the top award from as its not outstanding but is well priced and the food was of a good stanard if this is the best others need to up their game .

Food and service was Excellent. Atmosphere was lovely and entertainment was good. The whole evening was fabulous. We got the Meze and it was all fresh and tasty.

Wow great food, huge portions and such good value for money. Service and staff were superb with the exception of feeling rushed to make our order. We were asked 5 times in 10 minutes if we were ready to order. Besides from this brilliant will be going back sooner rather than later

Love ,love ,love this pub's pizzas,they really are the best around. Every time we go there everyone comments that these pizzas are just fantastic. Whenever we go to the Empire for a show we book into this traditional city pub for tea and it's a great part of the evening.

Amazing! We went for a casual meal and took advantage of the 2 course's for £9.99. Didnt expect much from this as it was such a low price but we was blown away. Great looking restaurant, friendly attentive staff, quality tasty food and great value for money. Will definitely be returning soon!

Had a wonderful meal yesterday, good choice of menu. Both meals were delicious on all 3 courses. I thought they may have been small plates but they weren't large and very tasty, so much we both couldn't finish dessert which were delicious too. The service was excellent courteous and efficient. This was really good value for money and I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was amazing, massive portions and really fresh. Always welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. My new fave restaurant in town!

Very very disappointed with love thy neighbour......turned up to the baby shower afternoon tea cancelled as the manager had emailed myself at 10.30 on the day of the booking to see if we still wanted it. I had already set off from Leeds to Liverpool at this point so did not check my emails. I had two emails from Jade saying the booking had been confirmed and as there was only 6 of us no need for a deposit. No mention id need to re confirm. The staff were rude and did not try to help the situation at all. Told the guests to sit any where and that we’d have to wait a hour for the cakes to defrost. Eventually spoke to the manager who did try his best to try rectify the situation but to little to late. We came to love thy neighbour on recommendation, unfortunately myself and the other 5 guests won’t be passing on the same. Bread was stale and the scones cold, all thrown together. Was supposed to be a special occasion which was ruined.
