Best pub in town, best scouse in town, best staff in town. Traditional grand old Scouse pub.

Party of 6. Service was very good food and drinks arrived promptly but the burger buns weren't as fresh as they could of been. We where then being presured after less than an hour with drinks still in hand and desert option pending that they needed the table and could we move on made for an uncomfortable end to our first visit to this location doubt we will return

Fantastic food, and plenty of it, fantastic friendly service and lovely easy going atmosphere. It was our second time there and we will definitely be adding it to our list of favourite eating places when we are in Liverpool.

Excellent food, superb customer service and an exemplary atmosphere. From start to finish, I really enjoyed my visit to Opa Opa. Will definitely go again and recommend to friends. The staff were extremely patient and friendly.

Ma Egerton's has now become our automatic first choice when attending a show at the Liverpool Empire - the Scouse is second to none, atmosphere convivial, staff welcoming and efficient and both food and drinks are sensibly priced.

We visited 13/4/25 for a celebration & we were not disappointed. The service was great & the food was really delicious. We will definitely be returning.

Had a meal before evening performance at the Empire Theatre. Food was excellent and served very quickly. Great value for money. The atmosphere was friendly and very lively. Not a place to go to if you prefer a quiet environment though! Very glad we made a reservation in advance as the pub was super busy and tables were all filled.

Awful. Music blasting inside in the afternoon meant we moved outside to just eat our food in peace. My chicken burger was undercooked and tasteless which I sent back. Confirmed with the server it was undercooked and it was removed from our bill. Still £60 later having only had 2 drinks, one meal, a few chips and some Halloumi between 2 of us we won't be returning.

Had a gorgeous pizza with a friend, on Grand National day, in lively, friendly environment, with excellent staff. Will be back for more, soon!

Great food, great service & great atmosphere.

Our friend suffered a medical incident at the restaurant last week. We cannot thank the staff enough. They phoned an ambulance and helped and supported us. The waitress was amazing, providing ice cloths and cleaning up after us without making us feel uncomfortable - thank you so much! The starters we were able to eat were very tasty and the Malbec was particularly good.
