Souvla – Liverpool City CentreVisited Souvla on Saturday night & loved it. Great atmosphere, friendly & professional service, fantastic food and excellent value. Good variety on the menu too.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreInteresting pub right by the stage door of Empire Theatre. Always have the scouse whenever we go and never been disappointed Staff are great too.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreWent to What's Cooking for a lovely evening meal. From start to finish it was great, we got really looked after by Ciaren that nothing was too much trouble for him. The food was lovely 'chilli' my husband had a 'big' burger & the desserts just finished it off well. All that said it was a lovely night food great & service with a smile what more could you want. I highly recommend
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreWe visited What’s Cooking yesterday. The food was really good , tasty and good portions. The staff were friendly and the service was good.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreGreat location for the arena...had a lovely window table overlooking the dock and the service was fab...shared the Nachos between four and there was plenty to go round us all...Burgers all round for the mains and we all enjoyed them
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreAnother visit to the Empire Theatre meant another visit to Ma E’s. Pre booking is always advisable as it gets very busy very quick! 3 of us this time, we got 1 build Ute own pizza, 1 Charlie Chaplain, swooping out 1 ingredient for something different, cheesy garlic bread and Scouse. As always the food arrived within 10 mins, it was piping hot, and delicious. 2 Coronas, 2 bud and a large Jameson & Diet Pepsi along with the food cost around £50. We’re at the Empire at least twice a month and ALWAYS choose to eat at Ma E’s beforehand, even though we live 5 mins away! The staff are always lovely & chatty, can’t say a bad word about the place. 10/10 every time.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City Centre2 of us went on Saturday afternoon. What a gem. Staff brilliant. We ended up late for our event as we didn’t want to leave! We got cheese & meat platters, soup. Coffee, soft drinks, gin all reasonably priced & tasty. Nothing to fault ;)
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreWe were also in Liverpool (from Scotland) for a concert at the Philharmonic Hall and had an early meal. This is a very friendly restaurant with great staff and an excellent chef. My husband had the souvlaki and I had the salmon with rice and salad. My salmon was cooked to perfection and was delicious and my husband enjoyed his chicken as well. The only very slight criticism we have is that the portions were too big. We didn't think it was necessary to have both bread and rice or bread and chips in my husband's case. We hate wasting food but couldn't manage the portions. Next time we will know what to ask for. It is a very good restaurant and ideal for the Phil. Come early and have a walk round the block before the concert. Please go and enjoy.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreVisited on a Friday night when restaurant was quiet, lovely window table overlooking dock with all the christnas lights.Staff were very friendly and helpful, service was great. Sharing Nachos were the best I’ve ever tasted. Would definitely visit again if up in Liverpool.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreDropped in for a meal and drinks before going to the Empire for a show. I had the most handmade pizza and my friend opted for the scouse which she said was lovely. Great atmosphere and service but advise booking a table if you’re eating there
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreWent for a meal before The Three Tenors at St George's Hall. Lovely and welcoming, excellent food and service. Pizza was delicious, thin and crispy, sharing platter was very filling and the scouse really good. Will definitely be back

Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreWe were in Liverpool for a concert at the Philharmonic Hall and the restaurant is about 50 m away. Smart but informal ambience. Very friendly and attentive staff. Wide choice of menu items - we had mixed souvlaki and lamb chops. Veggie options available. Really good. Huge portions. Complimentary brownie with whipped cream was a nice surprise. Finally, really good value for money. Would strongly recommend this place.
