My partner and I visited Souvla for my birthday. The food was amazing and authentic, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. As for the waitress, she was very friendly and dedicated. We would highly recommend this restaurant! A true Greek gem!

Party of 7 catered for . Stifado was not very good dry and not eaten but no comment made when feedback given . All.other food was lovely as was service . Not very busy

Lovely clean restaurant. The starters were lovely, shout out to thw fried mushrooms! Lots of pitta bread with the humus. There was 4 of us, we probably could have managed with 2 starters instead of one each. 2 of us had fish and chips and they said the fish was beautiful. One had salmon and said it was beautiful. I had chicken souvlaki and it was lovely and tender. Overall we were very happy with the food and the portions. Will definitely return.

Have dined at what’s cooking on several occasions during the last couple of years mainly before going to watch a concert at the echo arena near by we arrive on time and we’re shown to a small table for two we ordered drinks and our food shortly after our food arrived we noticed a number of small flies floating around our table we informed our server who commented it must be the small plant on our table I commented i doubted it was that as it was plastic but he removed it anyway and commented they always get flies coming in from the Albert dock outside there doorway but they were not normal flies and they were on our food and drinks but as they were busy they couldn’t move us anywhere else so we got the bill and paid it and left really think they need to get this problem sorted as a matter of urgency

We had a lovely evening at What's Cooking. The waitresses were welcoming and attentive and the varied menus had something for everyone. We opted to share the loaded Nachos which were so moreish, followed by excellent Caesar Salads and the Waffles. Nice atmosphere and a great location. We would definitely recommend you.

We have always come here pre theatre. Good value as always. Food and Service from the lady with bright coloured hair was excellent Popped back at interval as we always do. Always recommend to others and invite friends to join us there. Only negative was the young bar girl, didn’t seem interested in her role. Seemed to be highly irritated if you asked her anything.

Called in to Ma Egertons before a show, we had reserved a table which is a good idea if you are going to eat as it gets very busy pre show, the food is excellent, we had a pizza and scouse, both perfect, and prices are so cheap for what you get. Staff are great, drinks are a great price, would recommend at any time. It's a fantastic old pub full of characters and character, great place and the landlady is brilliant.

Lovely enjoyable afternoon into evening. The food was gorgeous no complaints at all. Staff were very friendly & even took photos for us!… we were a party of 9 & the food all came more or less together. Nice comfortable restaurant. Only tiny downside there was no cocktail with vodka!…We will definitely book again.

We visited Souvla for a family birthday meal. The food was amazing. We shared hummus and tzatziki with pitta bread for a starter and I can honestly say it was the best hummus I have ever tasted. I shared a meat platter with my husband for main and it was delicious. The coleslaw is very tasty too. Service was brilliant and we were given a chocolate brownie with whipped cream each on the house as it was a birthday celebration. I would definitely recommend and would go back again. Thank you.

Fantastic staff, good food and great atmosphere. Was really made feel welcome. Can’t speak highly enough of the staff working in there Sunday night for our meal. I will be back next time I’m in Liverpool!

Lovely staff and bubbly atmosphere. Went there to celebrate my birthday with friends and family, everyone was commenting how amazing was for the price, the menu had lots of cold and hot starters and a mix of meats for main. Everything delicious!! We will come back soon

Lovely warm welcome. Drinks good. Houmous delicious, good flavour. Hot flatbread. Tzatziki thick, herby and refreshing. Coleslaw with Chicken souvlaki crispy, right level of tangy dressing. Chicken tender & tasty. Delicious fudgy choc brownie, lovely delicious surprise at the end. All in all excellent.
