Souvla – Liverpool City CentreThis was around our 10th visit to What's Cooking, we usually visit Liverpool a couple of times each year and booking What's Cooking is our first job. Had to say, this visit very disappointed. Quality of food - starters very good, main meals average. Service - very poor, waited around 1.5 hours for starters, we appreciated the restaurant was busy but they didn't do food orders in the order they were taken it was just pot luck if your ticket was chosen, we saw guests walking out who had been waiting over 2 hours for food, but some guests were leaving after 2 hours having a 3 course meal. We chased our food, some staff rushed off their feet. They said could not let us know when we would get food because it was chaos in the kitchen. Waiting staff very apologetic, management not so. We chased again our main meals and these arrived a little quicker but some of the food was anemic. We are not complainers and we felt for our waiting member of staff, so paid bill and left, maybe a future visit will be left for a while. Thank You

Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreI booked a table for 5 for a catch up with work friends. None of us could fault it. The food was delicious and really generous portions. The drinks were varied and very reasonably priced. My personal favourite is the dank juice. The atmosphere was really chilled and welcoming and the staff were really helpful, friendly and gave the place a good vibe. Will be my bar of choice for visits into town in the future. Fantastic little find.
Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentrePartner said burger was okay but the southern fried chicken was soo dry and tasteless chips were rubbish
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreVery friendly staff with nice homely food and very reasonable prices.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreGreat styled venue and atmosphere. Service was friendly and prompt. The food was served in good time and well presented. The burrito was actually an enchilada and did lack flavour sadly but the other parties enjoyed their burgers.
