We came here for the first time for my birthday. We had a lovely meal! Staff were friendly and polite. It was very busy but food and drinks were served quickly. The only issue was we noticed after paying they had added a 10% service charge. When we questioned this the lady said it was optional but no one mentioned this to us. They just added it on and didn’t say anything. It was quickly refunded back to us without any question but it would have been good to be told. We would definitely return though!
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreFood delicious, staff were really friendly. Not as expensive as a lot of places in town.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreSeated quickly, good service, excellent burger and fries. Will go again.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreReally nice place to eat before and event at the Phil, been several times over the years. Nice atmosphere, cozy. Staff always nice. Food plentiful and tasty. Great value for money and the small free dessert at the end is always a nice touch.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreWonderful food with very attentive staff
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreLovely ambiance, food was flavoursome hot and plenty of it . Hostess was attentive without constantly checking on you, great value for money.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreWe couldn’t fault anything, everything was perfect. The food came out quickly and piping hot. The service was fantastic and we did not feel rushed. We would return.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreWe alway visit Ma E’s for a meal before going to the theatre. I think this was the 4th visit in as many weeks. Food as always was amazing, no skimpy portions either! Scouse is always a must but you can’t go wrong with a pizza either. A must even if just for a pre/post theatre drink. (See you again soon!)
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreWent there after reading quite good reviews and was sorely disappointed. Staff could not be bothered, place looked tired. Went there to play games with my kids but consoles were either not working or generally broken. Staff were more involved in making their own dinner and talking between themselves. After 20 minutes, nobody even checked whether we wanted drinks or food. Absolutely dire, so we left and went to a place on Bold Street which was much more welcoming. If I were you take your money elsewhere rather than this place where staff just do not give a toss.
Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentreHad a wonderful meal as always at Ma Egertons last night, with my sister after seeing a show at the empire. The food and service was fantastic and all staff are so friendly and helpful. Just a lovely place to visit
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreA little disappointing considering it was a Thursday afternoon and booked for a birthday. We waited over 25 minutes for someone to even take our drink order and they only did because we ended up asking somebody.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreAs always food, service and atmosphere great can fully recommend for a pre theatre meal xx
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreLove this place! Been 3 times now. Food is great and the prices are really good. Staff always pleasant and helpful. Everywhere is spotlessly clean ….. oh, and the Malbec is fab!
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreBest pizza outside of Italy! Faultless as always
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreHad a fab night, food was amazing, came so quickly and great value for money. Would definitely come again!
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreThe place is tired and most games don’t work, the board games are mostly trashed and you’re unable to play them. The food was good value for money though!
Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentreNice food would recommend. BUT the atmosphere not great- waited to be seated a while and couldn’t wait for us to finish and take our plates from us when half of the table where still eating.
