In Liverpool for one night for a concert at the Philharmonic Hall, so wanted somewhere nearby to have dinner. Souvla was ideally located. We had to amend our booking time and they were very obliging. The staff were lovely, very attentive and friendly, and the service was quick and efficient. There was a good choice of food, and it was well cooked and presented and tasted great. We even got a small complimentary dessert to finish. We hadn't ordered one as we were very full after the meal, but it was a nice gesture and so we managed to fit it in! I would definitely recommend Souvla.

Arrived on tht 18/5/2024 at 1700 nice booth service excellent food was very disappointing ordered salt pepper chicken wings no salt pepper they was just plain ordered house burger came ok the bun smelt funny tasted funny so that got lashed my girl ordered chilli con Carne with rice came with chicken rice not savoury very disappointed

Had heard good things and it loved up to the hype. Food was amazing and the staff were lovely. The atmosphere was great too. Will definitely recommend and be visiting again.

The food, service and atmosphere were all fantastic plus we even got a complimentary desert at the end which was a nice touch!

A very hot and sunny Saturday 11/5, and thankfully we had reserved a table at 5pm not knowing Albert Dock would be so busy but we were going to see Eric Clapton later! Hopeful clients were very politely being turned away or offered to find a table outside if they hadn’t made a reservation. The place was buzzing with happy clients and the staff never stopped, especially Jamie the Manager and our waiter, Sam. However, my hubbies plain burger and fries arrived cold. He hadn’t realised this until after taking a bite. Our waiter said he would replace this. Meanwhile I’m tucking into my Southern Fried chicken and very hot fries. My hubbies burger and fries arrived…..warmed up!!! We called the waitress back and advised this is not right and shouldn’t have happened, the waiter agreed to have the meal replaced. Jamie appeared to find out what was the problem……after explaining he apologised and shortly after a fresh plain burger and fries appeared. I had almost finished my meal at this point. Jamie advised he had had a word in the kitchen of which chef had said the waiter returning the meal had said the client wishes for this to be warmed up. Mmmmmm naughty chef! Chef is always king of the kitchen and does not take orders from waiters!!! Hence my score of 2/5 for food. The manager, Jamie kindly removed my hubbies meal from the bill and mine as we hadn’t ate together- this is customer service going above and beyond what was necessary, hence 5/5. This is a lovely restaurant to dine and we won’t be put off by one mistake. Definitely recommend

Been here a few times before going to the Empire to watch a show . Had a lovely meal with my family , and the Atmosphere is always warm and welcoming . I will coming back again .

Excellent food pre theatre I had the gluten free pizza it was really good My sister had the souse And my daughter had nacho and the tomato and mozzarella The staff are brilliant and a great atmosphere So reasonable Will definitely return Thank you

Fabulous atmosphere, quick to table and drinks order whilst we decided on food, all food came as ordered always love coming here as part of our trips down from Scotland, staff well presented and very polite.

We booked a table for 18 for my mum’s 60th birthday. We was seated and served our drinks quickly whilst given time to browse the menu which had plenty of variety to choose from. Food was served hot without much of a wait. The waiting on staff were fantastic polite and friendly especially Alisia, Joe and Lucy. Our experience as a family at this restaurant was second to none and we will most definitely be back again. Thanks again what’s cooking!

This the 2nd time we have been here. The staff are very friendly and very attentive. Nothing is too much trouble. Also very reasonable. We will definitely return. The ambiance of the restaurant was very good but not too many people in at the time we were there.

Such a great range of food, so much to choose from. We are regulars and went for our favourite, mixed meat platter for two. Amazing food, great atmosphere and good value for money. A must try

Another great visit! The food was delicious, calamari wrap and Haloumi schnitzel with mash was a win! The waiters were professional attentive and really nice. Wish we lived closer

I came here with friends before going to the Empire. It's our 2nd time dining and we fully enjoyed our pizzas . All freshly cooked from scratch and were outstanding . The best pizzas we have tasted . We had scouse in our last visit and that was superb too. Staff were friendly . The prices were reasonable Our go to place for the future and so near to the empire .
