Amazing pizzas as always! Great atmosphere and friendly staff... can't go wrong.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreVery friendly staff good, ambience and good simple food done well, only had pizza (sorry it's not a 5).
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreFood was really tasty with plenty on the plate and came quicker than drinks, although not cheap you get what you pay for. Only negative was we were left stood waiting for a table for nearly 15 minutes with waiters passing by acknowledging we had to wait for the manager, but staff were friendly once seated
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreGreat food, great prices, great staff, great atmosphere. GREAT PUB!
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreVery happy with the food. Not happy with the pressure the numerous visits to the table we experienced at the end of our meal. It became obvious that they wanted us to vacate our table as soon as possible. This spoilt what was supposed to be my birthday celebrations. It completely ruined it. Very disappointed.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreDoes not miss, always 10/10
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreBooked a table because I know how busy it is when there's a gig at the O2 (which I was attending), the Empire has a show on and Liverpool are playing. Not a problem - even when we rang to say traffic was heavy and we were 20 minutes late. Simple pub food done really well (great pizzas), excellent ale, pub full of character (and characters). Deserves it's billing as one of Liverpool's finest pubs in a city which has plenty.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreGreat views - large portions for the Fajhita - could have done with an extra wraps rather than having to pay. Chilli / burritos also decent size. Good choice of drinks. Deserts big portions. No more expensive than most restaurants on the dock. Service a bit slow, good atmosphere
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreWaited over 40 mins for food service not good never came to see if we needed more drinks had to look for a staff member to order more food not worth the money looked and tasted poor will not return
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreFantastic food, friendly staff
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreVisited after booking a table for 6 to celebrate a birthday. Service and staff great. However the food bill was £240. The chicken that I had was dry, the salad over garnished and the burgers of various sorts from the menu was all fairly tasteless. Chips However where amazing Soft drinks priced at £4.50 , didn't dare go for anything stronger as the milkshakes are price at £8.50. Stunning views, wouldn't go again.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreAnother amazing visit to Whats Cooking in the Royal Albert Dock Liverpool. Wow absolutely stunning food again, recommend the Spicy Chicken Papousas, such a joy to the taste buds. Can't wait to return again soon.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreGreat food, lovely atmosphere although the restaurant is a bit cold… please turn up the heating!
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreStaff were very friendly and helpful, nothing too much Food was very good value for money and potions were very generous, we had the meat feast for 2 and we definitely didn’t need desert! :) We’ll definitely be coming here again
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreLovely atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was quick, delicious and plentiful. Excellent value for money. Will most definitely be visiting again.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreLovely friendly pub. First time we’d eaten in there and we all had the Scouse which was absolutely gorgeous. We will definitely be eating there again. We booked a table which I would recommend anyone who wishes to eat there do as it gets very busy, especially after a show finishes.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreVisited Ma Egertons as two couples last night prior to seeing the Drifters on the Empire. It’s not the first time we have all eaten here and it certainly will not be the last. Although it’s mostly just a choice of scouse or pizza for the mains the wait for the food is minimal and the portions are big. The quality of the food is superb as is the service from the staff who like a good natured laugh and a joke with their customers. It’s very much an old style pub, which we all love with a wide selection of beers. We would definitely recommend anyone passing to pop in and enjoy the friendly ambience in this classic pub with its drinks and food
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreOnce again delicious bowl of Scouse with crusty bread and red cabbage, staff very friendly as per usual, our go to place now before night matches. Always book in advance, this place is super popular!
