Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreVisited for breakfast menu - and will return as the evening menu looks delicious and varied. Service with a smile, informal, beautifully presented breakfast tucked away in one of the city’s quirkiest and romantic avenues. Well worth a visit.
Queens Wine Bar & Bistro – Liverpool City CentreGreat service and food, cool place
Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentreHas been a long standing favourite for years. Had early evening menu. Food here normally very good but oh dear mediocre this time. Initially waitress forgot to put our order through so we waited 35 mins for a starter even though only 4 tables were occupied. For the mains we both had the Afelia which although cooked well was bone dry. Suspect may be different chefs in the kitchen. All in all disappointing!
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreWe have been here now several times. Food is always delicious and priced great. Service is always spot on, it's very relaxed and not to formal, which suits us perfectly.
Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreGreat place, Staff attentive and welcoming, food excellent, ambience great. Great prices, definitely recommend.
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreIdeal location before visiting the Liverpool Empire. Food was delicious and piping hot. Definitely value for money and will revisit in due course.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreLovely thin crust pizza served by lovely people with a great ale at a fair price. If you're going to the theatre plan to go a little earlier and book a table online to avoid dissapointment as it does get busy. Looking forward to the next show so as to try the Scouse. P. S. We went back the following afternoon for coffee and the chocolate fudge cake that we didn't have room for the previous evening.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreThe Perfect low-key pre-match brunch/lunch & drinks with great selection of lagers and beers & tasty pizza options. Always Friendly service and welcoming atmosphere.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreMix up over booking, but quickly resolved. Food delicious, especially the Scouse. Had a nice atmosphere. Will definitely revisit.

Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreEarly evening menu, which goes to 10pm Tuesday to Thursday is awesome. Best value fixed price menu I've ever had. Fabulous food, no scrimping because it's a fixed price menu top service too. Will be going back. Used to go to Renos Taverna, with the original Renos, 40 years ago. Can't reckomend Christakis highly enough

Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreOur second visit and we were not disappointed. Our Sunday roast was absolutely delicious, the best we have ever had. Topped off with good friendly staff.
Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreFirst time to the restaurant lovely environment and staff were really nice. A lot of food provided in the meze for the price. Quality of food and service was OK but waited a long time for service of drinks and some of the food was not to our Greek taste.
