Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentreFood was lovely however going on a Saturday means a set menu. Sadly because I am gluten free, the other two were penalised. The restaurant was unable to differentiate and my friends were unable to have the full experience of food. They missed out on the fish, chips and baklava. To be fair on the restaurant, they did offer 10% off but ideally they would have wanted the fish and baklava.
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreDon't bother visiting if you are with a child and/or you are from Manchester. They won't make you feel welcome and the food wasn't worth the money, nor as described. Massive shame as the location is great for the Empire Theatre. Food - mediocre. Atmosphere - seemed nice enough if you don't mind your 9 year old hearing profanities. Service - what service? Value for money - Don't bother. Presume all the other reviewers are not Mancunian. Ha.

Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreHad a lovely early evening meal before going to see our daughter perform in the Liverpool Fringe. The food was excellent and they had my Husband's favourite dish of sheftelia. Waiters and service were spot on. We will definitely be visiting again when we are next in Liverpool.

Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreWent for a late lunch yesterday. Very warm welcome as we entered. Loved the décor and the ambiance. Great selection of cocktails/beers/wines. Lots of choices on the menu. We had two starters and three main courses and we were very happy with each one. Nothing bad at all. Fantastic service too. Definitely ticked all the right boxes.
