We went for afternoon tea with prosecco and it was really good. The food was very tasty and the staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Wow what can I say. From start to finish this has got to be one of the nicest meals I have ever had. The food was unbelievable and the girl that served us her people skills are absolutely fantastic what a lovely girl she was. Her attitude towards her job was brilliant. Will 100 percent be returning and will definitely recommend. Thank you so much for the most enjoyable food and service.

I can’t fault the food, it was amazing and the price even better!! The early bird deal was great value for money the food portions sizes were huge… Only downfall was a really really noisy table of woman sat next to us. We had our children with us as it was a Tuesday evening, the woman were so so loud and the language was horrid. We would of stayed had coffee and dessert but we couldn’t continue to sit next to them. Maybe place family’s separate in the future. But thanks for great food we will love to return again.

We booked the 3 course meal with a bottle of wine. The wine selection was limited to 2 bottles due to the Sauvignon Blanc and Chilean wine sold out-( not great for a Hotel) so we had to have the Pinot Grigio, which was not a wine we particularly like! The starters were cold, the steaks were over cooked and the dessert - Lemon Meringue was unfortunately not good at all, the lemon used was lemon curd and was really really sweet as the meringue was dusted with icing sugar... The staff were amazing, friendly and are a great asset to the Hotel/Restaurant.

Lovely afternoon tea , with a great selection of sandwiches and cakes. Plenty of tea and coffee top ups and friendly and attentive staff. Nice comfortable bar/dining area. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

The food and service was amazing, the stuff were so friendly and could not do enough, we were there for a hen party and they gave us a cake and did a little song for the bride, it was very thoughtful! Please do bare in mind that if you go after 6pm only the party menu is available not the full menu

Took some freshly made pasta with the sauce’s and cheese recommended by the staff and what a treat it was, fabulous, the staff were so so nice and couldn’t do enough for me, will definitely be going back , great concept xxx

Friendly staff and quick service. The made my boyfriend feel special for his birthday dinner. Really enjoyed the charcoal bread and the '12 steak. Value for money on the food 4/5

Had a beautiful 3 course dinner with a bottle of wine at the R bar and Brasserie last night. Food and service were excellent. Staff were welcoming and attentive. I'd highly recommend eating here if you are in the area. Thank you to all the wonderful staff who made our evening a very pleasant one.

Had a meal here on a friday 30t July. Waited on by a gentleman very friendly and attentive and helpful 5 * Atmosphere was OK Service was good Food was very well presented but my starter was luke warm. I did not want to make fuss and spoil the evening by mentioning it. The mains looked amazing and tasted good just could have done with slightly more portion of the sides but like we said at the time (that's fancy food) looks good just not enough to fill you. Deserts were fabulous. It was good value for what we paid and we would go again. This is an honest summary and I would rate it 7/8 out of 10.

Brilliant service, couldn’t have been more helpful or attentive. The food was gorgeous, huge portions/sizes and my husband said it was the best burger he’d ever tasted. My new favourite place when we come to town.

Dined here with my husband and daughter Tuesday Evening. We all are from the early bird menu which was varied with huge portions...quality of the food was excellent as was the service and staff. Will definitely be returning.
