We see our friends in Liverpool a few times a year and, we always go to the Mei Mei, the food is superb, the staff are very courteous and very helpful, reasonable prices on food and drinks. You cannot fault anything about this restaurant, even if they are busy they always accomadate. We have booked the Mei Mei for our friends surprise Birthday meal. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

The new management show no interest in getting to know regulars and of serving them. Often I have been left waiting at the bar because staff are serving in the restaurant. It has always been a LFC pub,now it seems to be horse racing and Everton. I won't be back after over 55 years going there.

Simply the best! The kids loved it and were so well looked after by the staff. My mum and a right laugh over a glass of wine and some delicious lamb. Will definitely be coming back :D

We have just paid to park and have a breakfast for the first time as we were looking to book a table for a anniversary meal with the family. We walked in and stood waiting for over 5 minutes while a work man was behind the bar. Nobody came out to serve or direct us to a table. We left with no breakfast and very disappointed !!!! Will not be going back for the anniversary meal now. What a shame after the good reviews I expected better.

The place looks amazing!

WENT SATURDAY 29/5/15. WAITED 5 MINS TO GET SERVED, BAR WAS DESERTED NO STAFF. HAD 3 REAL ALE HAND PUMPS BUT ADVISED NONE WORKING. WE LEFT, NEVER AGAIN.

Went for a meal with colleagues last Thursday. The food was very enjoyable and there was plenty. The set menu was good value and I thought the choice of vegetarian meals was quite acceptable and better than many other restaurants I have been to. The main minus was difficulty parking due to the restaurant being on a busy road with limited parking and most of the surrounding area was residential parking for permit holders. In addition, whenever the door of the restaurant was opened it sent a blast of cold air over us until it was closed again.

We went to this resturant on sat and was totally disappointed. We sat on a table that was for 2 people and we had my son in a high chair. When the meals came my sons childs meal came on a large very hot plate so he was unable to eat this himself. The chicken burgers we ordered were really really dry. I asked to speak to the manager but they never appeared and I gave up. I won't be going here again, My son could have been injured with the plate being so hot.

This place is very nice. The owner she is polite. Good food and service. Good price. Also take- away reasonable price. I visit this place last year. We will be back soon.

Went with a family group. Service and food was excellent. Staff could not do enough for us. One of our party is a very fussy eater. Even she was delighted with food details of which was patiently explained by the staff in great detail . will definitely recommend to all my friends.

Booked this for my in laws anniversary before we were going to the theatre. What a disappointment it was. We got there and it was locked up. I called them and got a very rude manager who said they have been taken over and didn't have any details of original bookings and were full. Very disorganised and the place looked filthy. Would avoid this place like the plague to avoid disappointment.

My husband and myself dine in the Ring O Bells West Kirby about twice a week whether its steak meals two for 9.99 or the seniors menu. We always have a great meal served by friendly helpful staff. Louise and Ben run a great family pub.

The most amazing place, amazing food, fantastic staff would go every night if I could. Just love love love the place .

Food was that good my granddaughter even ate the crusts of garlic bread and pizza.

We are regular customers at Bistro Pierre. We came on Sunday 4. 20 pm the resturant was empty apart from tables at the front being taken, we were told by the waiter we could not have a table till after 6-30 pm. Yet friends of ours who had not booked arrived at 5.30 pm and were taken to a table!! Very disappointed in the service and the waiter showed no customer service what so ever

Worked at this pub years ago and still go in now and again for a drink. Service standards are atrocioius, staff just not aware of what of people coming in, making them welcome, too busy just gabbing to friends and other staff or looking at mobile phones. Shame, just going down the pan, what's happened to customer service?

Visited here after seeing them advertised on Sugarvine and thought they sounded interesting. Quirky restaurant with friendly, helpful staff and good food. Best Bloody Mary I have had in a long time and loved the fact it was served in a jam jar.
