Astoria – West KirbyThis is the best place in the universe to eat! THE END... THE BEST!!! I've been a regular since I was 18 and I'm now 26 and love it even more! Chicken makhanwala and especially my favourite dish ever made from here a Chicken Tikka Madras with Keema Pilaw Rice! Try it with a kashmiri Naan and pint of Cobra Beer and try not too fall asleep with heavenly fullness! It is simply Incredible and I think I love it and them!
Royal Tandoori Restaurant – WavertreeEnjoyed a really lovely evening at Kozi, the food was great ,the staff where very friendly. Look forward to going again soon.
Kozi – PrescotCrispy duck and the lemon chicken is the best i have had for a long time, the lemon chicken is so lightly batter the chicken melts in your mouth. Finish the night off with the dessert the toffee mixed the fruits is not over batter and the toffee coating just right and not too sweet.
New Peking Duck – WavertreeI went to Antonellis with my family for a birthday about 2 months ago and was made to feel really welcome. My young waitress made sure my son had a great birthday and made a fuss of us all night, ensuring we always had drinks and making us laugh whilst taking our order. All the staff gave antonellis a laid back but still professional atmosphere. I would recommend this restaurant to any one of my friends. The food was very good too (especially the home-made tiramesu)
Pietra Bar and Restaurant – WaterlooWe had dinner here on Saturday night for the first time. We were greeted at the reception and shown through to the trendy grey and red bar area where we could enjoy drinks and peruse the menu on comfy chairs or leather bar stools. Sadly the draught Pelegrino (an impressive novelty) was not available at the time but was soon restored to service. We placed our order from a sensible sized and varied menu and were shortly shown through to the restaurant area which was similarly decorated as the bar area. Comfortable leather seats, mood lighting and slightly undersized tables for all the glassware and original slate bread/butter slabs provided but very pleasant all the same. All this complemented by a wide array of (appropriate to its name) portraits and other photography and artwork. All our menu choices were superbly cooked and served by friendly and sufficiently attentive waitresses. If we had any criticisms it would be to lay off the balsamic reduction piping which came zig-zagged over each plate - (Very passe!) and teach the staff to serve and offer tasting of wine properly. It's not difficult and would improve their service levels to "excellent" if adopted. All in all a very friendly, pleasant restaurant offering good service, wine and food at sensible prices. Suffice to say we shall be back.
The Portrait House – HoylakeOur second time at The Portrait House and yet another success. This place seems to have got it right from the word go! Also evidenced by the number of repeat local customers they seem to have attracted. They offer a varied and eclectic menu which is supported by an excellent wine list and exceptionally good value house wine at £10 per bottle. Just what Hoylake was looking for. Keep up the good work.
The Portrait House – HoylakeWent for a meal with 8 girlfriends for a birthday celebration and had a great evening. I ordered the mushroom ciabatta for starters and sea bass with boiled potatoes and vegetables for mains, washed down with a very good priced pinot grigio! Had an ace night, the staff were lovely and the food and wine were gorgeous.
The Portrait House – HoylakeWhat can i say, Kimos is a wonderful place where i love to eat, their food is delicious, I would like to recommend Kimos to everyone, whether its for your breakfast, lunch, or evening meal Kimos is the place to be. I love this restaurant so much i hope to work here in the future.
Kimos – Liverpool City CentreStumbled across this place as I was going to the beach, this is a really nice pub, the atmosphere is good and the service and bar staff are excellent. the food is top notch, 2 4 1 on meals on a week day. you have to try the 20 ounce steak though it was cooked to perfection. I am a regular every Sunday now.
The Hightown – FormbyDespite not having a glamorous location, the Tai Pan more than makes up for this with superb food at reasonable prices. Sunday's DimSum menu is always packed out and most evenings the restaurant is pretty busy. It's always my choice for a very decent Chinese meal and i've tried most places. I always come back to the Tai Pan. Can't wait for the July smoking ban!
Tai Pan Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreWhat a gem of a place - I can't believe we waited this long to find out how good Paul's is. The quality of the food is superb and the staff are friendly but unobtrusive. Originally thought it would be a bit quiet on the inside but in fact its lovely, reminds me a bit of the old Kinsellas. Fine food in fab low key bistro setting!
Pauls Place – Mossley Hillwent here for the 2nd time ever and again the whole experience was consistently good same as last time, both times i had the pollo al forno which is a lovely creamy pasta chicken bake and it is fantastic, although i have only had the same dish twice both times it was amazing and also had the garlic bread proper Italian garlic bread of course which was equally fantastic, then had the ice cream, the food is good authentic Italian food the overall experience is nothing special but if you want that then you gotta pay mega bucks this place is simply fantastic authentic Italian food with good prices and good service quick and efficient I recommend you try this place at LEAST once.
Casa Italia – Liverpool City Centrewhat can I say other than 'fantastic' the food here is delicious (the best creme brulee I have ever had the pleasure to taste) and the staff are very friendly and efficient! The price is outstanding and my friends and I will be back without doubt at every opportunity! A sunday lunch offer is also available which I have to say was also great value with roast lamb and all the trimmings. mmmmmm!
Bistro Jacques – Liverpool City CentreEvery body would like to spend on their outing. But if you spend at Sapporo Teppanyaki, then its mean you got the taste for the rest of week.
Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreI was very impressed by my first visit at tapas-tapas the atmosphere was delightful. The seafood paella was great and their selections of wines made the whole setting very Mediterranean. The manager was very helpful and always at hand and very witty. The staff were also very attentive. It was a really nice experience and it was worth the drive! I would recommend anyone to pay a visit.
Tapas Tapas – Waterloothis is by far the BEST restaurant in Liverpool by a long way. The chefs are fantastic. The food is very special especially the chocolate spring rolls for dessert. the manger and all the staff were very attentive and friendly. FANTASTIC
