had a lovely evening with friends here, good menu choice, lovely staff and loved the banquette seating for a bit of privacy!. Its a shame more people haven't discovered it yet...it is a find to impress your friends with, especially if you get there before the deli closes (about 8 or 9 i think) as there are temptations galore. Much needed in Liverpool, hope it goes from strength to strength.

My favourite restaurant in the world!! Fab fab fab!

Had a lovely lunch here- the British Platter for two at £12.95. Ham to die for, Mrs Kirkham's Lancashire, game pie to name a few delights. Definitely to be recommended.

I went on my first date with my now husband here 19 years ago and enjoyed the food so much we/ family and friends have been going ever since. We've travelled extensively and always find we compare the food in other oriental restaurants to this and the ribs and crispy duck are very hard to beat.

Fantastic restaurant! My husband and i visit regularly, the atmosphere is great and the staff are so friendly. We visit often for the early evening menu which is 3 courses for £8.95 - fantastic value and sensational food.

My friends and I visited Fuegos last Saturday and had a fabulous night. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and seem to enjoy the evening as much as their customers!! We went in for the early bird menu (3 courses £8.95) - delicious and fantastic value! Ended up staying there for hours drinking jugs of sangria and shooting tequilas. Thank you to all staff, I? sure we will be back very soon.

This restaurant is lovely. the food is quality an is one of the nicest i have been to. the staff are very helpful and i look forward to returning to Nicolas.

Try this place for lunch - a bit off the beaten track but well worth it. Had a salad of Lancashire Black Pudding with bacon to start with and a main course of Toad in the Hole with a Wild Boar and plum sausage from Cumbria. What can I say ? This place is awesome! Great atmosphere - a real find from your tourist website.

EVERY TWO OR THREE MONTHS I EAT AT MONROES WITH A GROUP OF FRIENDS AND WE HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS. THE SERVICE IS SECOND TO NONE AND THE FOOD IS AMAZING.

It was our first visit to fraiche and having eaten in Michelin starred restaurants before I was very surprised that Marc Wilkinson has not yet got a star. It was obvious that fraiche is worthy of a star before you even begin to eat. The service was outstanding. The girl running front of house was young but knowledgeable. We where having the tasting menu and as we did not know what we were eating we asked her to recommend wines and to our surprise she recommended great wines which complimented the food brilliantly and they weren't pricey either. The wine list is unbelievable! So much choice but it was broken down into sections which tell you the body of the wine so it makes life easier for the people who aren? knowledgeable on wines. The food is unbelievable aswell. as the night goes on it gets better and better. i had the foie gras which was the best foie gras i have ever tasted and for mains i had the lamb. it was cooked perfectly you just cannot fault the food. fraiche is an god send to the Wirral and hopefully it will encourage other chefs to improve the food reputation on the Wirral and start cooking great food like Marc Wilkinson does.

Have eat here many times although not recently (due to no fault of the restaurant), quite like the ambience as it's very relaxed, nothing amazing just very relaxing and the food was pretty good and certainly not expensive. In a nutshell you will get good food at a reasonable price, the staff are very good and you will get a proper family restaurant feel in here.

This is a lovely cafe. No frying smells - not a greasy Joe's! The owners are very friendly. They do the best scrambled eggs. A good choice of sandwiches, toasties and jacket potatoes. The homemade desserts are to die for! The loos are absolutely immaculate. The music is great.

Finally got around to eating in this remote gaff. The staff are young and quite lovely but it needs a Front of House Frenchy, Mainly to book end the food. The Food. The Food? Brilliant. This is a restaurant of truly class gastomic pieces. Its a small place, Its quiet with background music and thankfully there was a large and loud table in - a French restaurant should not be in hushed tones - but this is not a fault of the place, Even if it was - it would be eclipsed by this guys grub. If it doesn? get a Michelin star (it is a rising star now (hence us going from Manchester) its a sin. But all them plaudits and awards aside - serious posh nosh with a very good list

I've been here a few times and I've always loved it (although why the kept the name of an awful mexican on the same site before I've no idea! It kept me off going for ages!) The food is excellent and the service fantastic. I am vegan and they will have no problem altering the meals to suit your dietary requirements. Nothing seems to be too much bother. And the beer and wine list is fantastic, far above the average. For a full meal or just a drink and some starters it never lets you down.

Kimos is an essential Liverpool place to eat. The new buildings fantastic, the foods great and it's so cheap its often the only place I can always afford to go. you have to go

What can I say? My whole family LOVE Kimo's my three little boys all under 8 prefer to go to Kimos's than McDonalds, now that has to be good. The food is gorgeous and Ive tried most things on the menu! I love the new building, I was concerned with the move they may change the menu or the prices but both have thankfully stayed the same. Great food, great price friendly staff, why go anywhere else !

weather spoons is nice for food and quit cheep for ale it would be better iv there was entertainment in there
