Alma De Cuba – Liverpool City CentreTalk about serendipity!! Failing to get a table at our favourite places on a night out we came across this North African/South Med inspired eatery quite by chance on our way to The Academy. Not normally walking down Mount Pleasant, we'd always missed its charms. All I can say is we can't wait to go back. Food was great, huge portions and a great atmosphere. And cheap. We were the oldest in there by far (at the ripe old age of 50) and it took me right back to my own student days. Wonderful!!!
Kimos – Liverpool City CentreWe have eaten here on several occasions. It is a nice local restaurant. The food is always of good quality. They offer a 10% discount if you order before 7pm although what is not very clear is that this is on cash orders only and you are only told when you query the bill! The only other let down is the seating arrangements - fine if you are in a group but not some friendly if there are just two of you! Would however not let this put you off as we have gone back on several occasions
Retsina Greek Restaurant – West DerbyI agree with the previous writer. It seems to me that this is the cleanest, friendly Greek restaurant in town. The food is very good and I regard this place as a very 'safe bet'
Zorbas – Liverpool City CentreI have been to many Indian restaurants in Liverpool and the royal is by far the best. The curries are amazing especially the jalfrezi. The staff are very friendly and easy to get along with and the price is amazingly cheap compare to other restaurants as the quality of food is the best i have had in the city. If you?e looking to go to a curry house, look no further than the Royal!!!
Royal Tandoori Restaurant – WavertreeWe were made to feel extremely welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed the banquet option - plenty of variation and number of courses. And the complimentary ouzo was a lovely addition. All the facilities were spotlessly clean and added to the whole eating experience. Seek this place out (the roads leading to it may mislead you) and you won't regret it. 9/10 for us.
Bacchus Taverna – Liverpool City CentreFood glorious food. It is so good to find somewhere that cooks proper food at a very reasonable cost, the staff are lovely, I would recommend this place to anyone, thank you to a really good end to a really nice day out.
Knightsbridge Restaurant – SouthportFantastic venue....really delicious food, great wine list, good service and a very reasonable price.
Spire – WavertreeWow, what a paella, also loved the Boquerones, They have really gone to trouble to get it right here Not manufactured like the other Tapas in town. Just loved it like being back in Spain. Just the thing for a night out with your mates
Tapas Tapas – WaterlooI have been to Tapas Tapas a couple of times and have booked to go again next week. I love this restaurant as it feels like you have just been transported to Spain. The atmosphere was brilliant and could not fault a thing. My partner who I went with absolutely loved all the dishes and always raves on about them. Cannot fault this restaurant at all. Thank you.
Tapas Tapas – WaterlooThis is one of the nicest places I have ever been, the food is lovely and the service is great, there is also a lovely bar upstairs to go before or after your meal. Not many places I have been measure up to this! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
Quo Vadis – FormbyWe went here the other night and I had the spaghetti meatballs and they were the best I have had outside of Bologna (Iwent to Uni in Italy). Just fab and I would recommend it most highly.
Pietra Bar and Restaurant – WaterlooI love this place but there are issues with the no smoking area. The signs need to be more noticeable and the staff need to be more vigilant, I was abused for asking someone to stop smoking in the NON SMOKING area!!! Apart from that FAB!
Kimos – Liverpool City CentreI keep going back to this place you can not fault it. Went there last night for the Halloween and the food was fab. I cant not find a better chocolate fudge cake anywhere!!!!
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreThis Pub was really impressive, the food was really nice for the value, 2 meals for the price on 1, all day everyday.I would recommend if you were going you should sit upstairs because the views are outstanding . My child also loved the wacky warehouse play area.
The Game Bird – St.HelensHaving recently visited Othellos with friends from Florida, who are of a Greek background, we were all in agreement that the food was absolutely beautiful, authentic and fabulously presented. The service was incredible, friendly and served by wonderfully friendly staff who went out of their way to be attentive and very helpful when choosing our dishes. Highly recommended. Lovely evening had by all. We did not want to leave!!!!
Othellos – WooltonHaving heard about Othello? Restaurant in Liverpool, My Husband and I decided we must give it a try, so on our Wedding Anniversary we decided to do just that, we travelled from Warrington with the Family, and on our arrival we were delighted with the warm and friendly reception we received, the staff couldn? do enough to make you comfortable, and help with ordering your food if you needed it, the food was out of this world, no matter what you ordered and my Family did order quite a few different dishes, also the atmosphere was very friendly, as quite a number of people were in the Restaurant, and I definitely would not hesitate to travel there again, it was well worth the experience.
Othellos – Wooltonits a nice restaurant
