Fantastic family-run restaurant on High Street Whetstone ! I highly recommend Matthews Kitchen , the food is on another level. The fish is incredibly fresh, the happy hours cocktails was delicious and the staff were so helpful and caring, making sure we enjoyed every moment. We had cocktails (fantastic!) and a lovely bottle of Albariño, which was a very good choice. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Thank you, Matthews Kitchen! We will definitely be coming again and recommending you to others.

Amazing!! Margs were spicier than the prawns but that wasn't a bad thing! Everything was lush and we were well tended to. Decent size, juicy prawns and tasty drinks which were kept topped up constantly, we didn't need to ask once. Great start to my birthday, thank you ladies!! Will definitely be back.

The staff were friendly and we were served very quickly. However the quality of the food was not quite what we were expecting for the price. It wasn’t bad but not great either.

Fab food!

First visit on Friday evening. Restaurant was quite which was strange as the food was great. We have tried to find an authentic Spanish tapas restaurant in London for a long time and any we have visited were always lacking. This restaurant delivered the best tapas we have experienced in London and will without a doubt be returning. The beef cheeks and mash were superb.

Had a great time at rising sun. Duncan was very friendly and atmosphere for the rugby was great.

The most delicious and generous food. Great vegetarian and vegan options. The staff are helpful and polite. The decor is jolly. This was my second visit and I’m looking forward to the third already.

I had a lovely Sunday Roast with my friends visiting from the Netherlands. The food was delicious and plentiful, the waitress was friendly and professional and there was a wide choice of drinks. Thanks very much!!

Restaurant fairly empty on a Saturday lunchtime so service was very attentive. Can’t fault any of our smaller tapas dishes, and the paella was a standout dish.

From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive. The cocktails were sensational and the food was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu. We had the ribs and prawns, date night special. Plus Mac n cheese side that was lovely and cheesy. 10/10!!
