101 Thai Kitchen – HammersmithThis is a great restaurant. I've been going here for 17 years. The food is fab; the waitresses are stereotypically stern eastern European types, who don't suffer those who've been foolish enough not to book ahead. It was gutted by fire in September 05 and refurbished to the same austere Polish style it had been done out in forty years ago. Even my mother-in-law liked this restaurant!
Daquise – KensingtonWe were looking for a lunch buffet to eat at for our end of term since we were sick of the Pizza Hut buffets. We decided to try something new and Dad recommended Wings Buffet. It wasn't hard to find - quite close to the Westferry DLR station, and after we went in, a moderately-helpful waiter guided us to a non-smoking table for eight. The drinks selection was limited, but we weren't there to drink anyway. The atmosphere was very casual, no fancy decorations or anything to make it look more Chinese than it should be. The staff were helpful but silent (you can hardly blame them, this is a buffet after all). There were about 30 different dishes to choose from, as well as ice cream/fruit/jellies for the kids' dessert. The selection was pretty typical of a Chinese buffet - the usual sweet and sour pork to cashew chicken and beef in black bean sauce. Some variations on fried rice and noodles were present as usual. Mini aromatic duck pancakes was about as exciting as it got. It's a shame that they don't have dim sum, but it could hardly be expected at that price. We walked out pretty satisfied. Even at the higher holiday price of £6.90 (normal price is £5.90), it was still pretty good value for money, and I'd come back again. Great for a pit stop, I'd recommend it whenever you're by the area and want something Chinese.
Wings Buffet – DocklandsFor a Chinese Restaurant, this would really get my vote. Mr.Chows in Knightsbridge is the nearest I can think of that would be on par with this one. Thoroughly enjoyable experience and would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.
Princess Garden Of Mayfair – MayfairI think Hong Kong City is the best chinese restaurant EVER! everyone should go there!
Hong Kong City Restaurant – South LondonThis is by far one of my favourite restaurants in London and definitely the best Sushi I ever had. It's expensive but worth to safe up for. I really like the Lamb Furikaki Salmon Pizza and Chilean Seabass.
Sumosan – MayfairIts unreal place packed at all times.Food so good and at these prices will defo go back
Lahore Kebab House – East LondonWhat a fantastic Pub!! Real beer not rubbish where you can taste last nights lipstick! Good atmosphere and food was outstanding. Camden websites says it? really clean!
Skinners Arms – Bloomsburybecause is one of the best Italian restaurant in London
Cibo – West LondonTry the crab pasta - it? the bee? knees!
La Luna – South LondonBrowns has one of the finest festive fayres around for a very merry Christmas and is guaranteed to get your party in a merry mood. Take the top quality dishes and professional staff, add to that the stylish surroundings and your Christmas package is complete. Christmas party bookings are now being taken, and they can accommodate celebrations on every scale; from intimate lunches to high capacity evening parties. The Christmas menu this year is both traditional and alternative with vegetarian options on every course. The Browns menu begins with the choice of four delicious starters - Red Onion Tart, Smoked Salmon Timbale, Roast Tomato Soup or Roasted Figs and Air Dried Ham Salad. Then, take your pick from the obligatory Roast Turkey with all the trimmings, Vegetable Suet Pudding, Fillet of Beef on Toasted Brioche or Baked Monkfish - all accompanied by a selection of winter vegetables. Traditional Plum pudding, Chocolate Fondant Cake or Vanilla Panacotta follow, finishing off with some mini mince pies.
Browns Restaurant – CityWe were a little apprehensive going to a banquet as I think you would normally go as a group. We were very pleasantly surprised we sat with a large group of English women three Swedish couples and one German couple. What a marvellous time we had entertainment, food & drink was of excellent quality and in abundance. Cant wait to go back
Medieval Banquet – East LondonExcellent food, well presented. Expensive, but worth it!
Zuma – KensingtonThe first time I went to Baraka I had such a wonderful experience that I couldn? wait to go back again. its such a wonderful restaurant which is tailor made for the Muslim community (since it has separate seating area for ladies and has HMC certified Halal meat). It has to be said that the food and quality service is excellent. If you are planning to have a meal in Baraka and like fish I would recommend you try 'Hilsha'.
Baraka Eatery – East LondonTry the chicken wings! Crispy and delectable. We went back for seconds. And could have had thirds. Fully intend to go back soon!
Siam Central – FitzroviaIt ain't much to look at but this is a hidden gem. The chef/owner Fabrizio is very friendly and his cooking would not be out of place in a top class award winning Italian restaurant. He is passionate about what he does. If you ask him for a selection of starters he will whip up a selection of dishes in next to no time. The food is delicious! It is quite cheap too. You should try it.
Fabrizio – CityI have visited the restaurant twice, and would be glad to return. The food has been unbeatable. The place is family-run, and that seems to imply that the training is not equally good for all members of the staff. The ambience is a little too colourful: The decoration might be taken to be vulgar in some places. For people with a reduced eyesight, it is difficult to read the menu at the table. Ask for a bigger candle. However, never mind this criticism. Go and eat.
Serafino Restaurant – MayfairAn excellent restaurant and wine bar with great views over Leadenhall Market. The food is a mixture of traditional and Italian with a few innovations thrown in.
