This is mainly a City lunchtime place which stands out because of the fantastically fresh ingredients; which are all prepared freshly on the premises. The food is great value given the quality. Reasonably priced and well selected wines too.
Hilliard – CityI WAS IN CANTALOUPE FOR THE FIRST TIME LAST WEEK. I had a great time! food was really good ( had a selection of tapas with my girlfriend) the sofa area at the back was comfy and inviting, and I found the service smiley and helpful. What a cool place!
Cantaloupe Bar and Restaurant – CityLovely Chicken Balti, perfectly spiced :) Great Place to eat!! If you like, bring your own wine and beer!
Aladdin – East LondonFriendly restaurant, with good food, wine and service. Set in a street that is almost a small village of its own. A first class experience.

Baraka Eatery – East LondonI been a regular to Bengal city, but recently it has changed under new management. The food is still the best though lot has changed within the restaurant. The decor, it looks really pretty now. The menu- offering whole new list of dishes. I enjoyed the Malabar monkfish curry, calamari (starter). I love seafood though have never found an Indian Restaurant serving these dishes. I truly think this place will do really well, worth the visit excellent evening.
Shikara – FitzroviaI have been a regular to this restaurant. Over the years they have lacked in service. This restaurant has recently gone through refurbishment, and been changed of management. The food is still great but the service has changed dramatically

Cyprus mangal – WestminsterThis restaurant is amazing! Not only is the actual venue stunningly designed but it is such an original venue and the menu is to die for. Go to the place and judge it for yourself. I promise you won? be disappointed!
Fire and Stone – Covent GardenThis is the first time I have visited a restaurant that serves traditional Bangladeshi fish dishes without compromising on taste. On my visit I found it to be frequented by mainly Bangladeshi and Asian customers as the say if a Chinese person eats in a Chinese restaurant then the food has to be good I dare you to put it to the test.
Grambangla Restaurant – East LondonExpensive, but the modern sushi is one of the best in London, the closest thing to the real experience in Japan. The atmosphere was quiet and chic and the service outstanding. Well Deserve the Michelin star!
Umu – MayfairI went to Little Bay as part of a group and found it to be an outstanding gem. The food was traditional rustic French with a good choice on the menu. The two best bits of Little Bay are it's fantastic atmosphere with table booths at the back in a dramatic opera house style. The restaurant looks like part of a stage set! Next is the restaurant unbelievably reasonable prices. We went early and starters were £2-£3 and main courses £5-£8. I don't think the prices went up much if you ate later. Wine was above average as was the service. I wish there was a Little Bay in Cornwall!
Little Bay – ClaphamI took my wife there for a birthday surprise. The food was LUSH!!! Had a chance to meet Gordon (my new hero!!) What a really nice bloke he was - gave me a tour of the kitchen and came and sat with us for a chat. Would definitely recommend this place - very expensive but you do get what you pay for.
Restaurant Gordon Ramsay – Chelsea and West BromptonHad a wonderful meal on the terrace on a lovely summer evening. Food was delicious, chocolate soup was to die for! Staff very friendly and attentive. The place to go this summer!
Cafe Des Amis – Covent GardenGreat Italian food at its best served by smiling and friendly waiters. Easy and contemporary Italian background music adds to the Italian flavour experience. To sum it up this is a very well presented and run restaurant.
Piccadilly Restaurant – SohoGreat Spanish without flying to Spain - and great wines also
Cambio De Tercio – KensingtonGeales is not the same place it was when we first went there ten years ago, but is still worth a trip nonetheless- new owners have updated the menu (but not to worry, the old standards are still there)- the atmosphere is of a small country cottage with some celebrity photos positioned where they would be noticed (it appears Sir Elton had a birthday party there a few years back)- Do get there early or be sure to book in advance as the place seems to always be filled up by 6:30
Geales Restaurant – KensingtonThis is our favourite chippy, tucked into somewhat of a residential area near Bloomsbury (hence many of the customers seem to be from the academic world) - they always have a special lager and ale of the day that goes well with the haddock and chips- the black currant sorbet for dessert is a favourite of my wife's- I love the rather "gnarly" looking taxidermied trout in the front part of the dining room and a rather ancient looking stuffed pike towards the rear-
