A great place to enjoy fab Indian food that is really authentic and very inexpensive. My friends and I love the thalis and for about £12 per person we can do it often. The waiters and waitresses are really friendly. You must make a visit.
Masala Zone – KensingtonVery nice meat, served in the typical "rodizio" way, which enable you to see and choose what you're going to eat, and makes a very funny atmosphere. Waiters are kind and available to explain you what they are bringing, and help you to serve yourself. The only problem: there is a nice selection of wines, but if you are alone and can't take a bottle, the selection by the glass is very poor.
Rodizio Rico – IslingtonYou must try this place, it is a real gem. The food was delicious, beautifully presented & very reasonably priced. I will definitely be going back & soon!

Apollo Restaurant – North LondonA great place for authentic Indian food for less than £15. We spent about £12 each and loved all of it. The thali was really tasty, with plenty of choice and loads of food. The communal dining and booth seating makes for a really sociable atmosphere. Perfect for a quick lunch break in between shopping!
Masala Zone – SohoWhat an amazing restaurant! The food is outstanding, classic French dishes cooked to perfection. The French bistro decor sets it off perfectly. The staff are friendly and helpful and with such a great French wine list, it helped to have them there to advise. I went for dinner and loved it. I will be back. Perhaps I will try lunch next time.
Le Vacherin – West LondonThis is a great place to experience authentic India food. I love the thalis, which if you are brave enough to order the Grand thali will satisfy even the largest appetite. Prices are great, around £12 each with drinks. The staff are friendly and I love the mix of communal dining and booths. The outside terrace will be great in the warmer months.
Masala Zone – IslingtonThis is a very beautiful restaurant. Glass and candles alongside sumptuous cushions and carpets. The service is great, the staff are keen to make your meal perfect and are happy to recommend dishes. The food was lovely and great to share. The meat was tender and perfectly cooked while the fish tasted really fresh. I would recommend this anytime if you wanted a special night out.

Spices – IslingtonGreat food in a place with a nice buzz even early in the evening with the bar tables in use. Extensive wine list at reasonable prices. Menu caters for everyone from carnivores to the true veggie at a very reasonable price. All day Sunday brunch to die for

Beirut Express – Bayswater and PaddingtonFantastic friendly staff. The most important thing when I eat out is how friendly the staff are and if they chat to you over the course of the evening and can explain the dishes. Excellent and food was perfect. Will see you again soon.
Spices – IslingtonI've lived locally in Pimlico for a few years now and I love popping into UNo when I fancy a good, hearty Italian feast with some great wine. The service is always great and the atmosphere pleasantly relaxed while still retaining smartness. As long as I live in London I'll keep on coming here.

Lusitanua Restaurant – South Londona surprising find as it's very discreet appearance doesn't make it leap out at you. the decor is fun, low-lit and full of bamboo and a miniture jungle (!). always busy, friendly staff who will cook to order, and BYO which is handy. food is always fantastic, traditional malaysian dishes beautifully presented and all at reasonable prices. a place to come for a fun romantic dinner or great for larger parties wanting a banquet. once you've been you'll be back that's for sure.
Bintang – Camden TownOpted for this place instead of an overpriced Christmas Meal on Canary Wharf and we wasn? disappointed. Service was very good as we had rang our order through prior to arrival. A set meal for less than £10 included a starter, main course, rice, side dish, bottle of beer, and coffee. We added a round of poppadoms for 8 and extra beers and had change from £15 each. Not sure if this offer exists all the time but we certainly hope so.
