We went on a Sunday , and the food was great especially the Sunday roast ,service was really good and friendly , overall a lovely experience

We loved our visit to the Owl, second time we’ve been and we will come back again, especially on sunny days for the children to play on the lawn and in the play area. The Sunday roasts were good - the vegan nut roast was delicious but we served with a non vegan Yorkshire pud and the potatoes were a bit over done. But overall it was great and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Roast Chicken was tough and overcooked. Roast potatoes were soggy and not enough of them. Plate was dominated by ridiculously large Yorkshire pudding. Not much gravy. Worst Sunday roast I have had for a long time.

It's was a basic roast. The lamb was difficult to cut and when I went cold it was like tissue paper. Nice potatoes and veg and absolutely love the Yorkshire pudding

The camembert sharer came out cold and hard on the inside so was sent back. It was returned about 4 minutes later still not fully cooked. The salmon was over cooked , and the pak choi was cooked within an inch of its life.

First visit and very impressed. Good service and food. Excellent portions for adults and children. Loved the location and views. Very clean toilets too. Will return

Another visit to The Owl and not disappointed again. Food fantastic and service too. We travel quite a distance to come back to this place and probably pass numerous other places but will continue to do so.

Excellent service, friendly staff. The food was hot although my brother said his broccoli was a little underdone.

Pleasant ambience. Order at the bar for service for meals and drinks. The menu has a good selection and they have a special of the day option. The price is reasonable. Good quantity and quality of food. Pleasant staff. The toilets are very clean.

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday Roast with friends. Good portions, delicious food and friendly service. Easy on line booking now too. All in all thoroughly recommend.

Lovely table by the log fire ! Waitress was really lovely and took time to fuss our 2 dogs as well !! 2 course roast dinner for 2 adults and a 13 year old and 2 roast dinners for our dogs including drinks £90 !! Unbelievable value !

We couldn't fault this friendly, welcoming pub and restaurant. We went for a Valentine's Day lunch with our greyhound, and were all made to feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was lovely and very reasonable (we had a buy one, get one free offer which was generously applied even though it was Valentine's Day). A great experience, thank you.

Had a lovely Sunday Roast, food tasted great and there was certainly plenty of it. Good service and nice atmosphere.
