Little disappointed with the pizza always been good in the past but seemed to have cheddar cheese on it also prawns where very small in the gamberetti othe than that every thing else was fine

All I'm going to say was it was OK! I expected better service and better standard of food but just not great. Liked how they ask how I wanted my steak doing ask for blue got medium rare. check back was to long to wait and already half way through meal and just felt that it was all a little rushed. Bar staff was strange seemed like I was wasting her time. My son left his meal as didn't like the batter but was never asked if there was a issue just took plates and ran. I'm not sure I will return or suggest to a friend based on my visit which wasn't very busy in there at all. My service scored is based on the bar. Atmosphere is based on the place was nice. Food was ok but didn't feel the price reflects a ok food more of a great food.

We really messed the poor restaurant around, we got our meal time completely wrong, cancelled rebooked then just turned up (we did have good reason). We were accommodated and welcomed. Then we were treated to a lovely meal, the pasta was tasty and well cooked, the tagine likewise. I had the bisteca Italiene and sautéed potatoes, it was lovely. None of it could have been cooked at home, all of it was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Met some friends here who loved the food, atmosphere and friendly service, we will all be back for another visit

Good and service was lovely, well portioned and tasted fresh. The only surprise was chicken ravioli had a spice to it, which the misses didn’t expect as it wasn’t advertised. It was tasty but just unexpected

This is a wonderful little Italian restaurant. I have been visiting for over 20 years and it never fails to deliver. The food is lovely and very reasonable, nothing is ever too much trouble. We were on dry January this time so didn’t get to have any of their lovely wine. This is a traditional restaurant selling authentic hearty Italian food. Well worth a visit you won’t be disappointed.

Went to Cheikhos for my birthday meal. The service was excellent and the food even better. Before the meal we were served with homemade bread with balsamic vinegar drizzle- it was amazing. For starters we had mozzarella, again very tasty. The best part of the meal was steak mains. I had one with mushroom sauce. Cooked rare as I wanted. It was the 4th time at this restaurant. Every time the food was great.

We had diner here on 30 December 2023.the food was absolutely divine. The ambience was so relaxing. Can't wait to go again for valentines day. Thank you do much 10 out of 10 Jan

Booked for 3 adults and 2 kids, we have been a few times previously and really enjoyed it, unfortunately this time one of the kids burger come out stone cold, we raised it with the waitress who took it away and advised a new one would be cooked only to be presented the same burger back and hardly even warmed up, a little disappointing, all other meals were ok and I was happy to see they had Neck oil on tap.

This is a great restaurant with really tasty food. There is a good selection on the menu, I love the bread on the sharing platter starter. The pizzas are wonderful, but then so is the ravioli and the chicken! There is a nice relaxed atmosphere, you don’t feel rushed, there is no second sitting peering over your shoulder waiting for you to finish. To top it off the service is great and the price really reasonable. Well worth a visit.

Very good value great food and atmosphere

I took my friend from New Zealand for a meal that I hoped would meet her high expectations. We were not disappointed. We had fresh bread and balsamic vinegar to keep us busy and we both decided to order the Sigurd dish The steak melted in your mouth really quite incredible The gravy with Barolo was mouthwatering and somehow it all worked with the two crevettes as well. I persuaded my friend to go for the Rioja and she was very happy to have agreed with me on that choice. The service was quick but not too quick and we had a lovely chat with the owner. We were early so the atmosphere was a little hard to create it got busier later and Livened up.

First visit after a recommendation. Lovely evening, great food and service and reasonably priced. We will be back. Thank you
