I was attending an event at the Wycliffe Rooms and met up with several good friends. from various parts of the UK and America. The ambience was really good - excellent, accommodating service and spectacular food! We all loved it and the price was very reasonable for the exceptional standard. I don't live locally but should I be in the area again, I'd love to return to Cheikho's.

Cheiko’s is great. It was our first time and our booking hadn’t worked correctly, but our host accommodated us despite their busy schedule and was very friendly and polite. The food was incredible and very reasonably priced, and the portion sizes were far better than you will get anywhere else. We will absolutely be coming again!

Rustic Italian restaurant with a great choice of starters, mains and desserts. The food was beautiful...really tasty and it was reasonably priced, so much so that we will return! Thank you for a fab meal celebrating our grandson's birthday.

Excellent meal at Cheikhos with friends on Friday evening. Menu choice, service and ambience spot on. Can highly recommend.

Little disappointed with the pizza always been good in the past but seemed to have cheddar cheese on it also prawns where very small in the gamberetti othe than that every thing else was fine

All I'm going to say was it was OK! I expected better service and better standard of food but just not great. Liked how they ask how I wanted my steak doing ask for blue got medium rare. check back was to long to wait and already half way through meal and just felt that it was all a little rushed. Bar staff was strange seemed like I was wasting her time. My son left his meal as didn't like the batter but was never asked if there was a issue just took plates and ran. I'm not sure I will return or suggest to a friend based on my visit which wasn't very busy in there at all. My service scored is based on the bar. Atmosphere is based on the place was nice. Food was ok but didn't feel the price reflects a ok food more of a great food.

We really messed the poor restaurant around, we got our meal time completely wrong, cancelled rebooked then just turned up (we did have good reason). We were accommodated and welcomed. Then we were treated to a lovely meal, the pasta was tasty and well cooked, the tagine likewise. I had the bisteca Italiene and sautéed potatoes, it was lovely. None of it could have been cooked at home, all of it was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Met some friends here who loved the food, atmosphere and friendly service, we will all be back for another visit

Good and service was lovely, well portioned and tasted fresh. The only surprise was chicken ravioli had a spice to it, which the misses didn’t expect as it wasn’t advertised. It was tasty but just unexpected

This is a wonderful little Italian restaurant. I have been visiting for over 20 years and it never fails to deliver. The food is lovely and very reasonable, nothing is ever too much trouble. We were on dry January this time so didn’t get to have any of their lovely wine. This is a traditional restaurant selling authentic hearty Italian food. Well worth a visit you won’t be disappointed.

Went to Cheikhos for my birthday meal. The service was excellent and the food even better. Before the meal we were served with homemade bread with balsamic vinegar drizzle- it was amazing. For starters we had mozzarella, again very tasty. The best part of the meal was steak mains. I had one with mushroom sauce. Cooked rare as I wanted. It was the 4th time at this restaurant. Every time the food was great.

We had diner here on 30 December 2023.the food was absolutely divine. The ambience was so relaxing. Can't wait to go again for valentines day. Thank you do much 10 out of 10 Jan

Booked for 3 adults and 2 kids, we have been a few times previously and really enjoyed it, unfortunately this time one of the kids burger come out stone cold, we raised it with the waitress who took it away and advised a new one would be cooked only to be presented the same burger back and hardly even warmed up, a little disappointing, all other meals were ok and I was happy to see they had Neck oil on tap.
