Just been for lunch with a colleague, great selection of food at good prices. It's a little gem!
The Lytham Kitchen – Lytham
Away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, Lytham holds essential ingredients. The Windmill, Lytham Green, Lytham Hall and the River Ribble estuary overlooking the Welsh mountains are all worthy of a postcard. A host of up-market restaurants will tickle your tastebuds.

The Lytham Kitchen – LythamWithout doubt the best interpretation of a fine dining restaurant in the area. The dining room has a first class ambience and stunning views over Lytham Green and beyond. The service is as good as any restaurant I've been to. And the food was faultless, although I'm not sure its quite at the level of Michellin stars yet.
Clifton Arms Hotel – Lythamv.nice place, with nice staff
Chattery Cafe, The – LythamMy fiancée and I live in lytham and frequently visit the Redfort on a regular basis (monthly). The food and service are really very hard to surpass! The waiters are even willing to experiment by going off the menu if you like. Although it is walking distance from where we live we would definitely drive to gain such an experience. Well done Danni and Aahad!! Keep it up guys!! Andy and Helen
Red Fort – LythamNot a restaurant really. Lunch served but have not experienced it. Wide selection of real ales and popular with residents and non residents alike. Even when very busy (as is frequent) very friendly.
The Taps – LythamMint.
Queens Hotel – LythamWhat a cool wine bar this is. Fantastic interior ( modern and funky). Funky tunes!!, great food, and fantastic cocktails. Only downfall to many shady characters lurking about!!
Zest Food & Wine Bar – LythamThis is a restaurant Ive been visiting for years. The food is excellent, the ambience is great, service is also very good- the staff really do work hard as the restaurant is always busy. Interior is also very modern and satisfying. If youve never been to this restaurant its definately one to checkout.
Portofino – LythamEnjoyed the luchtime special here and the Minestrone Soup was just delicious also the Ham and Asparagus Pizza.
Portofino – LythamJust want to agree with every word in the first review posted on 27/08/2002. Fortunately Zest is still here in 2004, having managed to defeat the elderly who tried to have it closed down several times.
Zest Food & Wine Bar – LythamNamed The Coffee Bean now, it offers the largest choice of freshly ground coffee and teas in Lytham and not only. You can choose from all sorts of Italian, French, Brazilian, Columbian, etc, or try something with a difference as Swiss Chocolate, Vanilla, Amaretto or Irish Cream coffee. And you can also buy collector's pots, cups, coffee makers or the coffee and tea of your choice. There is tea for all tastes - from camomile flowers (not tea bags) to Japanese, Chinese, or my personal favourite, the Spiced Tea.
Coffee Bean, The – LythamThis place rocks of course as I used to work here - better beer than the taps and not full of golfers come and drink here pronto!
Station Pub and Grill – LythamThe best fish & chips in the fylde, Haven't found another which beats dining in!!!!
Whelans – LythamThis really is a great eating experience, the food very well cooked and nothing is to much trouble. We are now hooked and are regulars - the takeaways are equally as good and don't miss the Sunday buffet at just £8.95 per head.
Red Fort – LythamDining at Eighty Eight was a truly enjoyable evening. The decor was charming and the staff were extremely professional and friendly. The menu had a large selection of interesting dishes and vegetarians will be well catered for with a wide choice. The atmosphere is perfect for an evening with friends or family.
Eighty Eight Chinese Restaurant – LythamFor my birthday, my family took me to the Eighty Eight, which is my favourite restaurant, and the food was fantastic. I especially liked the spicy Barbi Bangan, and also the toffee apples with ice cream! Highly recommended!
Eighty Eight Chinese Restaurant – LythamWe dinned at the Clifton Arms for a family celebration knowing that the restaurant offers a top notch dining experience for the Fylde. We were not disappointed. The service was very attentive as you'd expect from a four star hotel even though the staff were young. Everyone really enjoyed their three course meal which came in at £26 per head, whic although not cheap was worth it. I was particularly impressed with the wines, as well as the normal list they had a fine wine room. We plumbed for a fine Magnum of Rioja which was a reasonable £35. All in all good work!
Clifton Arms Hotel – LythamReally excellent food, drinks well served, everybody catered for young children, oap, and average age people. Only draw back is the smokey inside Lythamites who populate the inside area all day...never seem to be at work!
