Love the new supermarket with its restaurant upstairs. They even have a gallery in this flagship store. Great for breakfast and the outside balcony terrace catches the sun til late. give it a whirl!
Artisan @ Booths – Lytham
Away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, Lytham holds essential ingredients. The Windmill, Lytham Green, Lytham Hall and the River Ribble estuary overlooking the Welsh mountains are all worthy of a postcard. A host of up-market restaurants will tickle your tastebuds.

Artisan @ Booths – LythamWe had a party of 12 for my wife's birthday and picked the Table d'hote menu which, incidentally is £27.50 not £25 as advertised. The choice was good and the food excellent, the staff were attentive without being intrusive and the place itself is comfortable and relaxing. I thought the prices a bit on the high side for a set 3 course meal and the drink was expensive but overall we had a very pleasant and satisfying evening, we had provided a table decoration, some balloons and a cake which the staff were only too happy to assist us with. Would definitely go again but only on a special occasion.
Clifton Arms Hotel – LythamThe Clifton Arms should be on everyones 'To-Do' list! I've often walked past longing to be the one sat in the window, all smiles and relaxing, sipping tea from a China cup and saucer. When my little sister came to stay it was the perfect opportunity to indulge and leave hectic life behind for a while. So Afternoon Tea it was. And what an absolute pleasure. Good old fashioned service by immaculately dressed waiters. Impossibly fresh and mouthwatering sandwiches, filled to perfection and divine cakes. Not to mention the moorish toast and Wilkin and Sons Jams. My sister can't wait for her next visit and neither can I because the log fire will be burning! Heaven! We may even opt for the Champagne Afternoon tea next time.
Clifton Arms Hotel – LythamAVOID this restaurant - We were 'booked' in for dinner for 4 upstairs last Sat nightfor my wifes birthday. Arrived on time and could see it looked like chaos, we were then told they had no booking down for us and we could sit in the bar and they would come and get us. While we thought about it 2 other guests from different parties came and complained that they were booked in for 7pm and 7.30pm and had not been seated, It was now 8.45!!! SO even if they had our name down, we didn't have a chance of eating for 2 hours. The woman on reception didn't seem bothered and even remarked she was "getting it in the neck tonight" Very poor has really gone down hill
Portofino – LythamWe love this guy's pizzas - hot, fresh, very tasty. Thin crust and generous toppings. We particularly like the early week BOGOF deal on large pizzas which give 2 x 12" pizzas for between £8 and £9 or so. Well recommended!
Lytham Pizza Company – LythamWe were expecting outstanding, but were disappointed. It was only good.
Whelans – LythamThe food is good in a hearty kind of way, but go here for the beer.
The Taps – LythamThe Mongolian Lamb is highly recommended.
Eighty Eight Chinese Restaurant – LythamI really should learn the lesson, and stay out of Caffe Nero joints. I always end up waiting, and waiting, first to place my order, and then waiting, waiting, waiting for the damned coffee to arrive. At those prices, table service would help but I'm becoming seriously frustrated with operations like this that fritter away my time as if it were of no consequence.
Caffe Nero – LythamI love the new thin base Romana Pizza's. Just the way they should be!
Pizza Express – LythamBy far my favourite restaurant in Lytham. Food is always spectacular, service is wonderful. You will wait a little longer for your meal during busy times, but its always worth it. Pricey, but you always feel like its money well spent on great quality food. Shame more people do not venture up that end of Clifton street, they would be very pleasantly surprised.
Novello – LythamI didn't go into the main hotel restaurant because my wife and I are not yet 75, apparently a condition for entrance. We did, however, eat several times in the bar during a recent stay. This was always pretty good in the past, but now that they have a new chef, it is really excellent and good value for a quick informal meal. Highly recommend the fish & chips and bangers & mash. Salads are good too.
Clifton Arms Hotel – Lythamgood night out
Ship and Royal – LythamThe sandwich shop is good food at affordable prices extremely busy at lunch time which is to be expected but other than that the staff are very friendly and the food v.tasty.
The Sandwich Shop – LythamConsistently good. I really like the new pizzas they have added to the menu and the venue has a really cool vibe.
Pizza Express – LythamI really enjoyed the hospitality at Fylde Rugby Club recently. The facilities are very impressive, its a great location for a party.
Fylde Rugby Club – LythamThe food is excellent, but my favourite aspect of this place is the fact that the menu has not only a good selection of 'standard' dishes (jalfrezi, rogan josh etc) but the 'red fort uniques' provide many different options, most, if not all are great.
Red Fort – LythamI went to the blossoms for the first time just after it changed to an ember inn and have been going ever since all i can say is excellent the food is outstanding and the place its self is lovely and clean definitely recommended.
