We visited Lilibets to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. From the minute we arrived to our departure to tour Lytham Hall we were treated like royalty. We were welcomed with our bubbly and seated in the magnificent historic hall. A beautifully presented and served tea followed. The whole visit was a great success.

The service was excellent expertly managed and orchestrated by Simon who is first class in his position and also very entertaining during his service. The whole staff were very professional and the food and drinks were served perfectly. The selection on the afternoon tea was delicious and first class in presentation and variety of selection. Overall we had a very enjoyable Sunday afternoon in the delights of Lytham Hall. Thank you to all the staff, you are a credit.

As it was a Sunday, the items on offer had a Sunday lunch theme, which was novel and combined with the traditional delicate cakes and jam and cream scones. Unlimited tea and coffee was served with the food and fizz also available. Simon and Stella were lovely hosts including a helping hand with photos if you wanted. Background music tasteful without being intrusive. It was a stylish experience which we will be repeating. Recommended.

Unfortunately on my most recent visit even though the staff and surroundings were exceptional I was a bit disappointed with the Afternoon Tea. The sandwiches were very disappointing. The sliced bread was quite thick but the fillings were very skimpy and due to this lacked substance and flavour.

Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamI spent my birthday afternoon with a tour around the historic Lytham Hall, staffed by knowledgeable volunteers, followed by tea in one of the Hall's rooms. The sandwiches were delightful accompanied by small desserts and washed down with my choice of a large pot of lemon and ginger tea. Then followed a warm scone with small pots of jam and cream. The lady servers were also dressed in period costume which added to the occasion. I couldn't fault the experience. Thank you to all involved.

We had the Champagne tea. I do not usually like Champagne as it is usually very dry. Whichever one you use is the nicest I have had and was able to drink it. The food was lovely and indulgent as Afternoon teas should be. Thank you.

I felt we were rushed a little with plates being g removed very quickly. Tea was replenished whjch was great. The sandwiches were a little dull, but the cakes and desserts we Re delicious. Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamWe came yesterday to visit the hall before going for our pre-booked afternoon tea. There was myself, my husband and his Mum. The staff were lovely and attentive throughout, filling our coffee cups up and refreshing my teapot when needed. We started with finger sandwiches of egg, beef, coronation chicken and cucumber and cream cheese and mini bagels with smoked salmon. Followed by warm scones with jam and cream. Lastly mini desserts of carrot cake, lemon posset, tiramisu and red Velvet cake. A lovely experience and highly recommended, thankyou to all concerned xx
