For my birthday I invited three friends for the Silver Afternoon Tea which was absolutely delightful. Lovely sandwiches, wraps, cakes, desserts and warm scones. The teapot was never empty and the service we had from our lovely waitress was second to none, there when needed but so unobtrusive. A lovely warm fire on a cold wet day, what more could you ask for. I would recommend it to anyone.

Mohshinas Indian Restaurant – LythamIt was a step back in time having afternoon tea in such beautiful surroundings and having the real fire roaring away added to the atmosphere . Tables were traditionally set and we were served delicious sandwiches and sweet treats followed by warm scones by very friendly staff. We then went on a reduced rate tour of the hall which was really interesting, there were also plenty of volunteers on hand to chat and bring to life the history of the hall. A really enjoyable afternoon that I would highly recommend.

We walked into The Shables cafe and loved the ambiance and decor straight away and we were made welcome. The music was great, not loud, lovely modern decor and spotlessly clean. Lots of choice on the menus. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and our first visit. Amelia, our waitress was such a lovely, polite but friendly girl, she gave us excellent service. I would highly recommend a visit. We have found our new favourite eatery in Lytham. Thank you.
Shambles – LythamPerfect for celebration or just a treat. Food was delicious & wonderful service & atmosphere. We went for a tour of the hall also which was incredibly interesting. There were so many things to see that I will definitely go again. Perfect afternoon out.

Beautifully served selection of sandwiches, wraps, crisps, a selection of desserts including warm apple crumble and warm sticky toffee pudding and all followed by warm scones with jam and cream. The teapot was never empty .. it was fabulous and we would recommend this to all friends and family .. had a wonderful time.

The food was excellent and the staff were very pleasant and courteous serving our afternoon tea. We had to bring home part of the tea served as there was more than we could eat. My advice to anyone booking for afternoon tea not too eat much before arriving!!

And there was lots of it - they boxed left overs for us. Gave them to our son and he said the carrot cake was the best he had ever had. Will be booking again.
