Apart from appalling weather the afternoon was a resounding success. All 20 ladies thoroughly enjoyed Thomas and Sue B'S description of the house and its history and were very grateful to have such a wonderful afternoon tea. Dietary requirements were catered for and we all had an endless supply of beverages. The food was delicious and was described by one lady as the best afternoon tea she had ever had! I can second that. The waitresses were so accommodating, welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Don't change what you are doing as it's excellent! Thank you very much, we hope to see you again soon.

We had the Platinum tea and thought it was great value for money. Everything was delicious and well presented. Loved the fact that the scones were warm and they said just to ask for them when we were ready. Attention to detail was very good and the staff were lovely. The only negative is that in addition to paying out for the tea, we also had to pay to park in the hall grounds. Personally I think that if you have made a booking for afternoon tea free parking should be available

The food was lovely in beautiful surroundings. Although the weather was terrible it was a wonderful way to spend and afternoon as the house tour was only £5 extra. I would highly recommend it !

This was brought out promptly and we were told what the sandwiches and other items were. We thought the Silver choice provided a good selection of savoury and sweet items, and warm scones were brought out after about fifteen minutes. A fresh pot of tea was provided upon request. Overall we were very impressed with the quality of the items and had an enjoyable meal in a very pleasant room. We would not hesitate to recommend it.

We actually won a tea for 2 after attending an outdoor theatre last year ( another wonderful experience). We took my wifes Mum and paid for her, so it was tea for 3. We arrived and asked a lady outside (she had a yellow jacket on as helper) where we needed to go. she did not say go left right or anything like that, she said to walk with her and took us to the door to the house and went in to tell the gentleman there what we were there for. He then took our details and then walked us to the tea room where another gentleman took over. He took us to our table let us get seated and offered drinks. We were able to take in the room and its splended atmosphere of a time gone by . He and a lady served the drinks, he returned with the food on the tower and explained eveything on it. At all times they were both very attentive to our and others needs. The food was excelent and its is difficult to say what was best. At no time did we feel rushed and enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea.
