We are a group of friends who hadn’t got together for a while, and afternoon tea at Lytham Hall provided the perfect opportunity to catch up. As the sun was shining, we walked in the outstanding grounds first to work up an appetite. We certainly needed to, as the food was both beautiful and plentiful. The staff were lovely and brought fresh pots of tea whenever we asked, and the surroundings were so elegant too. It was a real treat, and we’ll certainly be coming back.

We took my sister in law for afternoon tea to celebrate her special birthday. Afterwards we went to look around the beautiful Lytham Hall. She was delighted, as were we, with the whole experience. All the staff were so attentive which really enhanced the experience. Both the afternoon tea and the cost of admission to the Hall is very reasonable and excellent value for money. There’s so much more to do outside the Hall as well that it really is a full day out. I would definitely highly recommend a visit.

Whilst I have previously had good food here, the manager/owner fell short of behaving professionally last night. My friend ordered a "2 chilli" strength meal. When she tasted it, it was as mild as a korma so she politely asked for it to be a bit more spicy. When the dish was returned to her she took 1 fork full.and it almost blew her head off. It went from 1 extreme to the other. She could not eat it....the waiter seemed to take it very personally & said in 12 years, he had never had a complaint. He then sent over a customer so that she could tell us how nice her meal.had been! She was visiting Lytham & it was her 1st visit. Bizarre request! Anyway my.point is the owner took the criticism of his dish very badly & unprofessionally....he did not charge for the dish but we shall not return due to his attitude

I brought my granddaughter for a viewing of the house and afternoon as she is rather a history geek. She enjoyed the experience immensely. The ladies waiting on us were amazing and could not do enough for us. We could not eat all the afternoon tea so we took our scones home. These were delivered to the table warm. But when we got them home they were hard. This was very disappointing. Also the novel way of presenting the cream in a small jar was not enough to cover the scone.

We went for afternoon tea for my husbands birthday. It was so very enjoyable the surroundings beautiful the waitresses dressed up in Victorian outfits couldn't do enough for us. The food was scrumptious fresh and so tasty. Enjoyed a tour of our lovely Lytham Hall before we ate. If anyone wants to buy the perfect gift this has to be it. Can't wait to go again . We had a tour of the hall,which is beautiful and very interesting, so were ready to sit down for delicious food served in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very attentive , nothing too much trouble. The Sunday afternoon tea was one of the best .Nice to have a different savouries,not just sandwiches. Warm scones ,trifles and cakes ended a perfect tea.

Super evening again

The food was very good, particularly the sandwiches. Only small gripe, we had to wait a while for the heated scones. Staff were attentive and pleasent.

We throughly enjoyed our afternoon tea on Fri 4th august it was a gift for my husband’s 70th birthday and the food and service was excellent

A lovely way to spend an afternoon with friends. Authentic surroundings, excellent service and tasty food - the warmed scones are especially delicious.

My mum and I had the most wonderful afternoon tea at Lytham Hall and felt as through nothing was too much trouble for the staff who served us (Simon and Carol). We had requested a dairy and meat free and a vegetarian option which was carefully labelled and explained when it was served. The food was delicious, thanks to those who worked behind the scenes to prepare it, and we even had some cakes left over to take home and enjoy later on. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable with lovely background music and afterwards we went on the tour of the hall which rounded the day off beautiful. We would thoroughly recommend the afternoon tea to everyone.

My sister and I took our elderly mum (92), a wheelchair user, yesterday for afternoon tea A friendly welcome always awaits and all the staff are very accommodating. As usual, the afternoon tea was delicious with a great variety of choice. The 2 ladies who were serving were excellent and even made time to take photographs.

Perfect afternoon in the tea room for a birthday and then a look around the fantastic lytham hall. Recommend to anyone and have booked again for another group birthday lunch. Service was excellent

I came yesterday with my two children and mum. We were blown away by the beautiful surroundings. I hun we arrived we were welcomed to our table and nothing was too much trouble. Our servers were very attentive and told us about all our food. They offered to take a photo for us and we’re just really lovely. We felt like the bees knees! The food was amazing and delicious and they had accommodated my mums fussy tastes. I can very highly recommend afternoon tea at Lytham Hall. If that wasn’t enough we got reduced price tickets for a tour of the house too. It was definitely the girls day out I was looking for!

Been wanting to have Afternoon Tea at this venue for a while. A great treat from start to finish. We chose a Sunday sitting for the Gold Afternoon Tea as a family birthday surprise. The menu on Sunday is slightly different than mid week, so something to look forward to. The staff were very attentive & friendly. Great service throughout. Thank you to Elizabeth, Liz & Bridget for making our treat so special. We also arranged for a tour of the house after our tea - there is a discount on entry if you have tea & tour. A great memory and will try the mid week afternoon tea on next visit!
