Excellent as always- great food , great service.

Made a regular trip to Bacchus for lunch and had a very nice meal from the fixed menu. The usual attentive, friendly service from Jason and his colleague which makes for a lovely dining experience.

My husband booked for our anniversary. When we arrived there was a board with our names on wishing us happy anniversary , a rose and petals on the table . We were welcomed with a glass of Prosecco . We ordered several tapas dishes , wine and dessert. The food was amazing , the service outstanding and the atmosphere is lovely . We were sat in the garden area The extra effort put in to our booking was above and beyond . In our opinion very good value for money . A pleasant surprise these days . This was our first visit and we will definitely return to Lilac cottage .

Took my sister to this lovely restaurant to celebrate her birthday. From the moment we entered we were well looked after. The food was fabulous as was the service. Great choice of food and two courses for £25 was very reasonable. Would strongly recommend this restaurant you won't be disappointed

Great afternoon with the girls having the bottomless brunch. Food was amazing, the the cocktails were delicious and the service was perfect. I would highly recommend a visit!

We booked a table for 8 for my husbands birthday/ retirement, we had a fabulous evening, great food huge portions, very attentive staff and a great atmosphere in a stunning location. Would highly recommend.

We wanted to eat somewhere different that reminded us of our continental holidays. Good choice of well cooked food. We had the breaded starters. - very tasty and for mains the Gambas / chicken but the star were the lamb chops. Tried the house lager! Which was fine although more like a light beer. Very enjoyable meal and we were looked after well by Mara. Not on the menu but they made a white lady for my wife which she really liked . Definitely we would go there again.

Lovely to visit again, always happy with an evening at Bacchus, food usually wonderful, but have to say this time , my Sauté potatoes were hard and over cooked, but it did not ruin my meal, as always the service second to none, and hope to visit again soon. Liz

Simply the best restaurant in the North West. The ambience, the service and the food. And not overpriced.

The food was excellent, the staff were very attentive and pleasant, the atmosphere was brilliant, could not fault it at all, lovely pub, lovely area, lovely food and staff, very enjoyable!!

Called on spec for late lunch once again food absolutely lovely was nit busy but still was an enjoyable visit x

Was extremely disappointed! We had a table booked for 6pm, we left the restaurant at 6.28. The food was all over done and almost inedible. We had cocktails that we couldn’t drink as they were awful! We ate here a few months ago and noticed some big changes in prices and portion sizes. Compared to are last visit, we will not be coming back!

A warm welcome from the waitress who was very attentive. Meatballs are delicious. A lovely little place.
