We visited the Crown on Sunday 7th Sept after a lovely walk along the river. It was for our 6 Month anniversary and in that time have had many a meal out. We both agreed, it was the best meal we have had in those 6 months by far. Sunday Roast was so good, great variety to choose from and the selection of veg that came with the meal was perfect. Deserts were ridiculously good too. Will definitely be returning soon!

Went to the Crown with another couple on a recent Saturday Night. Lovely staff. Food well presented. Good varied menu and very tasty. Great range of beers. Would definitely go back

We live in Cookham and have now been to The Crown for breakfast, Sunday lunch and an evening meal. All have been excellent - quality food, friendly efficient service and REALLY generous portions. We've happily taken family along and will definitely do so again. Highly recommended.

We have visited the crown previously for an evening meal and had an amazing service and great food. This time we came for breakfast we had to wait 20 minutes for a drink and even longer to be served to ask what we wanted. The girls that were working didn’t really want to be there other customers came in and asked for breakfast but they weren’t taking any more orders for breakfast. Unfortunately this was a bad experiencing. Not entirely sure if we would return again.

We had a very good meal. We eat outside on the common. Service was good and so was the food. Lovely venue.

We were staying here, both the breakfast and our meals on the Sunday were of a good standard. I was delighted when they said that I could have a kids Lamb dinner and with a Yorkshire pudding! Very tasty meals, excellent friendly service, a lovely comfortable pub internally, we will be returning next year.

The Crown always has great food, the staff are very friendly and it is always really clean in there too. Wonderful pub and one of the few pubs I have been to that makes a good Aperol spritz! We visited as a party of 11 for a celebratory lunch over the weekend and they catered to that number of people with ease. Thank you! :)

As always, The Crown at Cookham delivers on every level. The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavor, beautifully presented, and served in generous portions that leave you feeling satisfied but already looking forward to your next visit. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere that makes dining here such a pleasure. It’s clear that customer care is a top priority. We’ve been before and we’ll definitely be back again. A true gem in Cookham — highly recommended!

The food was AMAZING especially for the price and the portions are massive. All the food and meat is fresh and made with orders couldn’t suggest a better place. The service is also amazing and cocktails. The manager Cai was so professional and amazing knowledge and customer service. Really highly recommend to go here.

Was recommended to try the roast dinner, as we normally go to swan upper in Cookham . Thoroughly enjoyed the chicken roast and lovely selection of vegetables. Service was good. I now think we’ll be going to both the Swan uppers and the crown as both excellent .

Had the most wonderful meal here. 4 of us were greeted warmly, service was really good. Very impressed and will definitely be returning.

Good food, friendly and efficient service, good value for money. Excellent steak pie made in-house with meat supplied by the local butcher served with fresh vegetables. Sunday lunch is also recommended and our grandchildren love the fish and chips.

Excellent service. Very friendly, courteous staff on a warm, busy Friday evening. Meals were very delicious and gave generous portions. Great setting and atmosphere. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this place and will certainly come back. Keep up the good work.

Had a lovely meal on a busy summer evening. Liver and bacon perfectly cooked. Dont see that on many menus these days.

Had an excellent lunch yesterday. My friend and I opted to share a number of the Nibbles items. They were very copious and absolutely delicious. The young lady who served us for very friendly and efficient. Would thoroughly recommend!

Excellent food , the liver melted in your mouth the other dishes where also good , such big portions had to leave some . The atmosphere and staff were really good , will be returning often as live locally.
