The Crown is a fabulous place to go now with the new owners and tasteful interiors. The food is really delicious and top class. It's the best Sunday roast I've had in years. And the staff are friendly abd welcoming and provide quick, attentive service.

A pleasantly decorated pub with friendly, helpful staff. Dog friendly. The food was excellent especially the beef and Guinness pie. Lovely desserts- my sticky toffee pudding was huge!

Fantastic Pub - we loved the location (very close to a National Trust Park). We had a lot of kids in our party and the waiters were excellent to them - everyone was well looked after. Food was again excellent (We had the chicken, the lamb Shank, and lots of Burgers/Sandwiches). Desserts were brilliant. Sufficient Parking. Baby changing facilities were again great. Overall a highly recommended Pub to go to !

Popped in for a late lunch on New Year's Eve. The food and service were excellent and a special mention needs to be made for the Beef and Guinness pie. A proper individual pie resting on a bed of vegetables, not a pastry lid on a ceramic dish of filling. Thoroughly recommended!

This was an exceptional meal, that myself and 2 friends enjoyed yesterday the service was spot on, and as I said food was very well presented and would certainly come again for a lunch time meal.

Had a great meal recently. There was a mistake about the order which meant we didn’t all eat our main meal together. But the staff were apologetic and gave good service and the food was excellent all round .

I went for lunch at The Crown with my brother and parents this week. We all ordered something different and it was all delicious. The service was excellent - friendly and welcoming and the new decor is lovely. It's the first time we've been here since the new ownership and we would highly recommend it.

Superb food and excellent breakfast!

I had dinner with a friend and we both really enjoyed our meals. We had a burger and the steak, both were cooked really well. Great service from all the staff.

We met with friends who said the Crown was good. As a step of blind faith we booked. Friendly efficient service , a varied menu My choice was fish and it was delicious I’d go again just for that. Good to see more than burgers and fish and chips although they were options. I really liked the waiter who was happy to help with choices and had tried everything on the menu so could speak with knowledge. A sign of good management that staff have tried what they sell. Only downside, a bit noisy.

Quick and efficient service from friendly staff. Excellent size food portions and very nicely presented. A few of the dishes lacked flavour. The duck cigars needed a bit more sauce with a stronger flavour - needed hoisin sauce. The veg curry also needed a boost of spice. The calamari went down very well as did the liver dish, both of which tasted really good.

Excellent service, good food, brilliant venue Nice atmosphere.
