San Carlo – Manchester City CentreOur first visit to the Koh Samui restaurant was last night; it won't be our last. There are many good quality Thai restaurants in Manchester but the food and service here were superlative. At less than £100 for 4 people, each having many Singha beers, starters, mains and a couple of speciality coffees; I think the price was more than acceptable. The recommendation is simple - GO !
Koh Samui Thai Restaurant – Manchester City CentreI have been coming to Velvet for quite some time and love it here. You can relax and be served with a smile. The food is lovely and very reasonable. I have now been to the new swank bar situated above the restaurant it is well worth a look.
Velvet – Manchester City CentreWe went for a friends birthday and although there was 20 of us all the food came out at the same time and all of it was yummy! Nothing was too much for the waiting staff. Its not often you can find a restaurant of that calibre that can cope with such large parties. The restaurant was full and the bar buzzing so we stayed all night. Thoroughly enjoyed it will definitely recommend it to everyone and will definitely be going back.
Bluu – Northern QuarterVery tasty and uncomplicated Italian food, generous portions and a good atmosphere whatever night it is- what more do you need?
Piccolino- Caffe Grande – Manchester City CentreI Went to panacea a few weeks ago with my work colleagues, after a meal at el Rincon, And I found it to be excellent, The cocktails were so fabulous, And I thought it was very ambient...Fantastic
Panacea – Manchester City CentreWent to Piccolino last Saturday with my best friend for a sex n the city lunch, One word Fabulous!!! Food was of good standard, although the service was quite slow and that was on a Saturday afternoon, But do try the chicken Caesar salad starter Amazing!!!!!!!!
Piccolino- Caffe Grande – Manchester City CentreAwesome food and awesome service! Can't get enough of it - recommend a visit by every one!
Pacific – Manchester City CentreI was inspired to visit by a review that described the food as "bonsai" in style - i.e. perfect miniatures. I was delighted by the menu that you can order many (or few) dishes that you like to selfishly devour or share amongst you. It may be difficult to share the "mini cheese-burger" though (two mouthfuls - tops). There seem to be no obvious starters or main courses inviting a comparison to multi-nation tapas (pan-Asian, Mancunian and American but bigger than a tapas dish). It means that you invariably have space for a dessert (and what a wonderful choice of "bonsai" desserts!). The wine list is miniscule and unadventurous; the champagne collection is pretentious, but the cocktails are extremely impressive. You can just go and drink and pose without eating. The ambience is a combination of "sex in the city" and "footballers' wives". I liked it - a lot.
Panacea – Manchester City CentreThe best! I was a vegetarian before I discovered the Shami kebabs. Abdul's turned me!! Forever grateful....
Abduls Fast Food Restaurant – Manchester City CentreAbsolutely first class in every respect! The selection of their own wines imported from Spain was wonderful and we were offered 5 to sample to help select a bottle. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone and will most definitely be returning!
Evuna Deansgate – Manchester City CentreConsistency is the key to Croma... I have eaten there more than 20 times - and never had a bad meal. Very reasonably priced, superb pizzas (with fantastic 'specials') and good service. Good luck with your new ventures!
Croma – Manchester City CentreFirst time for a long time that I have been to a Thai restaurant but this was one that I would go back to again and again. The menu choice is superb with plenty of variety for even the pickiest diner (I took along one of those and even she found plenty of tantalising choices) Service was second to none including an annoying diner on the next table to us who was efficiently despatched from the restaurant with minimal fuss. The surroundings are very contemporary without being bland. We went for individual menu options instead of a set banquet to take full advantage of the wide variety of dishes but this was reflected in the price - but I always think that its better to pay more for something you enjoy than less for something you don?! Whatever the occasion I am sure this establishment will exceed your expectations. I will be back to sample the Chinese restaurant downstairs.
Pacific – Manchester City CentreI shared the crispy duck and pancakes and it was really good. Waitress was very helpful and friendly. Thoroughly recommended.
Pacific – Manchester City CentreFantastic starters!! Make sure your really hungry to go to this place, huge portions. Fantastic atmosphere, nice and relaxing
Panama Hattys – Manchester City CentreA large group pf us arranged to go here for a birthday celebration. We were provided with a private room towards the back of the restaurant which was perfect. The service was fantastic and the food although a little pricey was worth every penny. Definitely worth a visit in my opinion
Gaucho – Manchester City CentreWe had a wonderful relaxed evening here. The service was excellent the food was great! Would definitely recommend and definitely go again!!! GREAT
Panama Hattys – Manchester City CentreThe biryani on Friday competes with the meatballs on Tuesday for excellence - best to sample both!
