Armenian Taverna and Restaurant – Manchester City CentreExcellent experience
Armenian Taverna and Restaurant – Manchester City CentreExcellent service. Friendly staff, efficient and swift but never make you feel rushed. Food was delicious and plentiful - couldn’t finish mine. Good atmosphere. All the other diners seemed just as happy with their time there. Would recommend and would return
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreLovely food, great service:) had a fab evening here!
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreWhat a great little place! Reasonably priced, quick service and good atmosphere. We had a lovely quick meal to keep us going before a concert. Friendly staff, I'd not hesitate to return.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreMade a reservation at Georgios prior to a theatre performance at the Palace. Great location for theatre and 2 course menu offered for £22.50 each which we considered to be reasonable in comparison to other Manchester restaurants. The service was exceptional, it wasn’t busy on our arrival but was getting filled up on our departure. The staff have got customer service down to a tee. Polite, friendly, welcoming, good sense of humour. The pizzas were amazing , one of the best Ive ever had and I’ve travelled the world. Thank you to all the staff and chefs on shift Thursday 09th June 2022, you made my day! Keep doing what you are doing, because you’ve got it “Spot in”. I’ll definitely be back if ever back in Manchester , Jackie & Francesca X
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreJust wanted to say a massive thank you to Georgios, the whole experience from start to finish was excellent. We went for my sons 13th birthday and they offered a garlic bread on the house which typical my son doesn’t like in which he replied I like pizza! The waiter said okay a margarita on the house! Me and my son were delighted! The service and food was amazing! Thank you again Georgios!
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreQuality food, quality service. One of best Currys I've had in town. Happy hour a bonus too! Recommended
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreVisited for a team outing on a Monday night and found the place was quiet so service was very prompt and everyone was pleasantly satisfied with the food so ticked all the boxes for the team - definitely worth a visit!
Armenian Taverna and Restaurant – Manchester City CentreWe arrived a few minutes earlier than our booking time. We were greeted warmly and welcoming. We were immediately escorted to our table. Straight away they were there with menus and taking our drinks order. We didn't have to wait long for our starters. We opted for the pre show menu. It was great value for money. The main course was very hot and tasty. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreOur second visit. As always, amazing food, wonderful atmosphere. The best pomegranate wine I have tasted anywhere. Great service. This is my new favourite restaurant in Manchester. I will probably drive 400 miles just to have a meal here. Totally value for money!
Armenian Taverna and Restaurant – Manchester City CentreI booked this restaurant after reading the good reviews. I didn't see a kids menu but there was quite a good menu on the website. We turned up and were hurriedly sat down to a harrassed waiter and told kids can have most things on the menu. We then ordered drinks and i ordered the house white wine not knowing it was £11 per glass!!! My fault. My sister ordered pink gin but clearly didn't receive it but when asked if it was pink she got the waiter grumbled yeah. We asked another waitress if they actually had pink gin. She said yes and re ordered it again. This time it was. We ordered spaghetti bol for my 6 year old daughter thinking it would be a safe option.... it turned up and was very spicy, too spicy for a child. And since when is spaghetti bol spicy? On the whole the whole experienced was not enjoyable. The waiter was not friendly at all and seemed annoyed that we were there!!! The drinks were way too expensive and for kids is a no. Oh and the garlic bread didn't taste of garlic, more like buttered bread!
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreAbsolutely fantastic service and even better food. The best pasta dish I’ve ever eaten. Highly recommend this place and perfect location if you’re visiting the theatre.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreOverall would recommend
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreExcellent meal, can’t complement the chef enough, service was perfect such nice friendly staff, would definitely go back.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreWent to the Rio on the evening of the 2nd June. Been before and always enjoyed the visit. However, on this occasion, shortly after we had been served drinks and first course, the fire alarm went off in the restaurant. No guidance was given as the staff were trying to trace the source of the alarm. We carried on eating without any chance of conversation due to the piercing noise of the alarm within the restaurant. Several customers walked out. We were given our main course with the alarm still sounding We finished the meal and were given the bill. No compensation was offered and we paid the bill in full. Clearly this was a very disappointing visit to the Rio and we feel that we should have been offered some form of compensation.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreLate lunch for 2. Pasta very good. Staff friendly and attentive. Enjoyed.
