It's our third visit to The Rising Moon and we can't fault it. Friendly staff, great service and lovely, tasty food.

Food delicious as always Staff friendly & good service

I've been Lymfield three times now, once for Afternoon Tea for mother's day, and twice for breakfast, and it has never not hit the spot. I have enjoyed it each time and left full and fulfilled. Service is fast, food is great, and the view outside while eating always brings a sense of peace! Thoroughly recommend here

Lovely food and friendly, welcoming staff. We've been here many times and always enjoy it. Dogs are made welcome and there's even a special menu for them. The pub is lovely with a great atmosphere too.

The Rising Moon gave very good value for money and we all enjoyed our food. The only thing we’d like to see is a bit more choice for vegans. There were only 2 things to choose from on the main menu, and no options in both the sandwich menu and the dessert menu.

There were 9 of us , we all enjoyed our meals . We had great service , the staff were friendly & helpful . We all had a good experience & we will be back .

The staff were really friendly, and there was a good selection of food and drinks with a classic pub atmosphere. However, it felt slightly overpriced for what it was. We paid £50 for two meals and three drinks, which isn’t outrageous, but the food itself was fairly average. I wasn’t expecting anything exceptional, but for that price, I did expect a bit better quality.

Always a great meal at a very reasonable price in lovely surroundings served by very courteous staff. I go regularly with my wife and family members. They have a 2/3 course offer especially for OAPs like me. Lovely.

It’s a lovely pub with a good atmosphere. Service was not as good as it normally is. They didn’t appear to have many staff and it was busy. Food was lovely but not as good as it normally is.

Service was ok from the staff , the English breakfast was disappointing, especially the sausage and bacon, sausage undercooked and bacon appeared to have been warmed up or kept warm, sorry to say we won’t be returning anytime soon.

Disappointing main meal for 3 meals, chicken butter milk burger overcooked and tasted like Cajun flavour and hamburgers very dry not enjoyable and for £99 I would expected better meals, service excellent however. Will not be making the 30 mins drive again.

Booked a table for 4 for 5pm, on arrival greeted by pleasant staff. Order our meals, which arrived quite quickly. Two meals plus a childs order from the menu and a Sunday roast. Childs meal and the 2 meals from the menu where excellent, unfortunately the Sunday roast was disappointing, the gravy was very salty, roast potatoes too hard and the stuffing was hard. The meat was lovely. The meal arrived with the gravy already poured over meal so there was no way to avoid it. Having said this it will not stop me from going again. Music played at the right volume and the service was excellent.

Friends meeting for lunch. Lovely food and a great atmosphere with groups, couples and families all enjoying the day.
